    Just a Reminder

Only paid 5000 for my truck, don't have support legs or air ride (but does have a liftgate) but you guys said it was ok, but since I don't have a cdl yet that was the issue...... If I remember right those guys sleeping on their front seats are taking advantage of a loophole in a rule change...

    Just a Reminder

I see more and more trucks like that in the truck stops with the drivers stretched out over the front seat sleeping. Hopefully the DOT starts cracking down on those trucks.

    Driver Pay

Those drivers are not the major issue, it's the carriers that take advantage of the foreigners like they do, it's easy to take a van load for 60 cents a mile when you are not paying your drivers anything even close to minimum wage. Corporate economics 101: it's easier to take money from others...

    Continuous DEF Problems with Sprinters

Cool idea but more energy will go into making this fuel than the engine will create when burning it. Also nox will still be created as it is a by product of high combustion temps and not because of the fuel. Gasoline engines produce nox too but is much easier to control with egr, but there...

I feel your pain, I am in the same boat, although I drive for a small company out of Cleveland, at least they have pretty good loads out of Ohio, but on the road, its slim pickings... I have decided on 2 new sayings...... Turn and burn.......... once I get a load out of Ohio, drop and come...

The computer will shut the engine down to prevent damage if the rail pressure goes too low, mine did that a few times when I didn't replace the fuel filter before it clogged. But you did replace that recently right?

No problem it's amazing what things start wearing out on these vehicles when the miles start piling up. Mine is at 560k, still way behind yours but I think the rust is going to get it before the engine dies.

When you open the hood and look down you will see the steering shaft, the lower joint is easy to see the upper one is a little harder to see, just out of view, almost have to stick you head down there and look up to see it.

My sprinter was doing the same thing and my first reaction was to change the fluid too, but the problem was the 2 little u joints in the shaft between the steering wheel and the rack. Spray them down with wd40 and see if it loosens them up, I have to spray mine every couple of months to keep...
