    August. Where you at,

When the company I run for first started to use the app I put it on my tmobile android tablet, and it worked fine where I had service, that particular tablet would only do 4g and lte data, so I had large areas where I would have no service on it. An iPad on att would not have that limitation...

Big Truck I work on Hino trucks. I'll answer any questions I know the answers to.

Well I got lucky, the turbo was dumping oil into the intake, but I guess because the turbo wasn't actually moving air that the oil didn't ruin the engine. The intake side wheel was shot, the shaft had lots of play in it, doubt that it can be rebuilt. Figured I would take the hillbilly way of...

I thought about that when I was on my way back home, was wondering how I could have stopped the oil flow to the turbo, didn't think of smashing the feed line. I had someone go to my place in Florida and find the turbo and send it to me in Ohio, will be here tomorrow, will go back there Friday...

Ugh had a short load to Altoona pa today, 30 miles from the delivery going up a hill, the transmission downshifted and boom there went the turbo...... Pulled over to the side of the road and was hoping just a hose popped off but no such luck. Limped the truck to my delivery, when I left there...

Ford ball joints can also be too tight, which is easy to tell because when you go around a corner, the wheel will not spring back like it should, if you have to turn it back to straight, then the ball joints are too tight. I have seen one that broke in 2 pieces because of this, thankfully I...

    Hino turbo

I can't see there being any calibration issues with this particular vnt. When you remove the motor the linkage snaps all the way up, there is only so much travel in the linkage, if that was a stepper motor, there might be an issue, but there are 3 Hall effect sensors that let the brain know that...

Big Truck I work on Hino trucks. I'll answer any questions I know the answers to.

Probably coming from the oil cooler, there are o rings between the cooler and the block, mostly labor to change them as the turbo has to come off. I did this job myself, wasn't that bad, just took some time

Hmmm, there is only one nut on mine, with a metal ring that you bend down on the nut to lock it in place. I should mention mine are not the kind that have oil in them, just grease. My brakes have been sqealing at low speeds and on occasion had the ABS light come on with air gap codes. I was...

Wow I would have thought if you tightened that bolt that tight the wheel would not turn. If I have 10ft pounds on mine I would be surprised. I know what my project for tomorrow is.....

Ugh when I did my front brakes I re greased the bearings and when I tightened the lock nut I just snugged it to the point where there was no play, guess I have to go back and tighten it more....

    Hino turbo

As long as the motor inside the vnt does not look like this: You should be able to get it working again. You don't have to take the turbo off to get to that motor, there is a bracket that comes off: Then take the 4 Allen head screws out and take the part off with the electronics...

July 2015 Where ya at? Where ya going?

Well it's time to retire my rusty old sprinter, my wife just left Wayne's in Toledo and we are going to sell it to him for the parts he can salvage off of it. I know if I were to put it on Craigslist I probably could have sold it for more, but I didn't want it to fall into the Russians...

Which Expediter Will Be the First to Use Driver Cams?

Maybe used during a new employees probationary period? Would find out what kind of driver they are in the first 30 days. You could find out real quick what their driving style is, relaxed or aggressive. But then again a data recorder could probably tell you that also.

Which Expediter Will Be the First to Use Driver Cams?

And if I screwed up and did something like that I would deserve that punishment. Deny it till the end, that attitude is a perfect example of what is wrong with our society.

Which Expediter Will Be the First to Use Driver Cams?

There would be no need for cameras like this if we as a society would admit when we make mistakes and accept the consequences. But we are not like that, never admit fault they say. I wouldn't need a camera facing me, if I was wrong I would be the first to tell everyone that I was wrong. But a...
