I wonder at orientation how many recruits are actually told they have to pay the deductible on the cargo portion of the policy? I have NO recollection at either carrier being told of this...was told carrier pays the cargo ins...but I can't recall being told straight out I'd be responsible for...

in all my years...."fair" has been pretty elusive....there was always a sort of cost that went with fair....from doing extra things on a load, a few extra miles, to an extra drop, to stroking an ego here and there of an obsessive dispatcher or owner....never has "fair" come completely...

absolutely NOT...they all beat us down on the rates already...be darned if they are getting one more red cent of mine just to do their job .....gee whiz....

m concern is the higher speed limit silliness going on right now....how many can really handle these speeds safely? especially in the skid control area and braking!......which should be a mandatory part of any driver training...IMO

we'd have to know every rider involved, my big reduction over most in here is NO replacement rider which is about $900/$1,000$ per $10,000 worth of replacement value.....

I have wood to get in before the snow flies....and thats is coming up quick....:)
