I was talking about the speed limit in Canada, it's ridiculously slow 100 km/h... since you mentioned Texas, don't forget that "everything is bigger in Texas"... ;)

The funny part was when this guy went right away to a local lawyer, and without seeing the ticket, he asked my friend "what's the speed you got caught, 88?"...

Yup, still slow, but better than a month ago...

There are many with less than half... a friend of mine was driving 71 in 70, the cop pulled him over for driving 77 and on the ticket he wrote 88...

Canada pretends to be more European than US, but when it's about speed limit, they strongly deny it (btw, E.U. countries got 130 km/h [that's 80 MPH] speed limit on freeways and many four lane highways)...

As long as they are the law, it's better to let them do the search and let you go, than asking for a warrant and getting a real hard time from the blue boys...

I believe that's why we pay taxes and renewals yearly...
