Quite a few actually....and they fill us up when they can. they get their moneys worth... I just had a load Friday... 5 boxes 61x48x32..would have taken a straight or 2 cargo vans...but only 1,000lbs

The tolls are getting unreal...pretty soon we'll have to ask for toll money for the mid west!! anything PA/ Cleveland to the Chicago area we should be at least asking for toll money now...

Ohio did away with weight when they went EZ pass..they go by axle now...

The EZ pass won't but the height scanner will...

We were penalized because we had too many credit cards!! Had to actually cancel a few..there was no balance on them they were just in case cards. The official reason was: We had too much potential for future debt!!

I just punched in arrive a few miles out..the night staff is a bit dozey anyhow. they were just watching Desparate Housewives!!..*LOL*

Why wouldn't we want better money IF it is a sprinter type load that won't fit in a CV? In the old days it would go on a straight for a higher rate..and I am quite sure the carrier is charging a bit higher if a customer requests a sprinter....

There is NO discount for ez pass in PA or Ohio...just WV, Ind and Ill....

but a suspicious mind would think that some carriers do charge a sprinter premium and not pass it on to the owners. That is the story out on the road anyhows...

So if I had a vehicle that run on air..there should be a tax on air?

I understand where you are coming from Dave.. But when a shipper can get a sprinter for a lesser rate then a straight they used before the sprinter came along...they are saving money. Most carriers made the mistake of giving their sprinters away and missed increased revenue.
