Spoiled? *L* good one...:D Yes..in a perfect world...why should they not? A customer want to fill a certain size truck..the price SHOULD reflect the cost of operating that size.... A customer needs 30 feet PAYS for 30 feet..so a tractor shows up....there is 23 feet left over...should the...

    1 ton or 3/4 ton?

My rookie van was a 3/4T.gasser..made a whack of cash with it. But I think and that is just me..with the 1t extended....a little extra space for that 2 skids for your personal stuff...and you'd be more usable for heavier loads.

I suppose that is why some trucks/vans have a kill switch for the QC.....do the running around then come back and turn on again...voila..no move...I've personally seen the toggle...on/off switch.

Would you run for a company if they had this?

Nope...I even asked the driver where they were going....same product ..different assembly plant...that takes CV's.. The real problem there was about 8 straights piling up...and they had to move them out...without paying to DH them out. It is a perfect legit business move...but it hurts none...

Would you run for a company if they had this?

Yeah..i would agree with that but that is NOT the way it goes... some are making .05-.08 for ALL miles IF they maintain X amount of trucks in service. I've also witnessed in my years fleet trucks getting moved with a CV load before a single operator....Do I think it is fair? NO.....BUT that...
