There ya ll go with that weight thing again... Since you all ignored my post about weight being over rated... Weight is a killer in a sprinter...I am not saying the weight shouldn't be consider...most of our loads are Height!! Then volume and weight last... Weight will increase your wear...

Yeah we get paid for it....if coming from the north down 75 they route us cross country exit 29 in KY unto US25 it cuts the corner and to 81 to 26....a pretty rough way to go especially at night and in the winter...

Close Greg..at least in my 05...takes 2 empty pallets to be able to clear the wells..so about 9"...Did this once to take a STRAIGHT truck load @ STRAIGHT rate!! :p Took a 56" wide crate...used 4 empty pallets end to end and set crate on top... Opps...I just measured..I stand...

And the new 3500's gross out at 11,000 now I believe.. Log territory! Not good at a cargo van rate.... The deck you would lose the ability to double stack some automotive bins...hence lost load opportunities.... The idea is to improve your odds of getting loads...not to diminish them...forget...

At E-1 we get $1.00 per mile+FSC don't forget the 48" and over..you might only have 1 skid. The balance of your question comes down to. What do YOU think you are worth? and How much is a carrier going to pay you?... Call it fair market value lets say... The missing information is...HOW...

No..can't see that..they want the ability to have the space IF they have more product then expected...nothing worse for a shipper to have 3-4 skids come off production line and they only ordered a C/V..now they have to order a second van...costs even more...

No matter location..they all work off load boards from across the country...some have a few local customers of their own...
