You lose that drive time and no accumulation of dwell time? So someone could POD out AFTER you, make it to an express center first and technically be ahead of you in dwell time..? Instead of "Time from Last Load"

Dwell time starts when you POD out or go back into service...and goes with you...you get to bump or get bumped...one can see the dwell time on Fleetvision..I am at 28 hours presently... There is no macro available to see this...

Something for Newbies to Think about / TJP's Trials

Problem is... a lot get into this biz as a last resort measure....they've been laid off, close to losing everything and see this as the "brass ring"...unfortunately this usually leads to even more problems for them....They think not as a business opps, but a life preserver.

There is a lot of corner stations 10-15 cents cheaper then a truckstop...over 50 G's is like $5/7.50 in savings...just whip out 2-3 bucks a get a tax deductible receipt for $10 and get over it.... Obviously they don't want your business as appears by their program and are not going to reward...

Fedx considering option of a flat rate for strt and tt

No but E-1 is their "preferred" carrier now....and now reefer trucks are appearing at E-1...which means "maybe" less work for the Feds WG units..

Fedx considering option of a flat rate for strt and tt

Are you with Judd or Expediter Services? The most a truck can make at E-1 is about $1.49 a loaded mile....$1.20 plus .29 T &T rate....not including any DH pay... You saying the WG rate is at or lower then that, on average?
