Nope....our compliance Dept....I was in Dallas when my DOT came up....E-1 waits till like 3-2 days before to remind us...MY fault it is my responsibility to know when it is due anyhow... Safety...aka compliance dept. let me have a week extension, now this is their words...since I am not DOT...

But we at E-1 have a DOT because of insurance not the DOT regulations....soooooo E-1 grants about a 7 day grace period if we get caught away from home to get one done...with the reasoning by law it is not required...they can not do that with the C and D and tractors
