It is a matter od National Security..........

Not at all Jim, I take the "slinky" approach to politicians. They have little real use but it sure puts a smile on your face when you push them down the stairs!!! An old joke to be sure but still very funny!! :D

Mrs. Layoutshooter informs me that we have been deducting it ever since we put it on the truck. She handles that end of the business. I guess I should just ask her what is going on, eh? :p

It is a matter od National Security..........

I have posted the link of the group that controls our overhead resources, it is a little known group compared to the CIA or NSA but have tremendous power in the itell community. Their "situation" room is located several hundred feet below ground in one of those famous government "areas" (not...

It is a matter od National Security..........

Sorry Jim, but I am going to have to not agree with you on this one. There are more than enough non-itell resources out there to track ice bergs. Even a minor repositioning takes days, except in an extreme emergency, and always has heavy costs. Those costs include large sums of money, and more...

    Mr. Responsibility

The intelligence agencies are controlled by the civilian government. That government sets 100% of the priorities of what those agencies are working on. They also set the "tone" of their work. The attitude of the government towards the work that they do affects the moral of those working in that...

It is a matter od National Security..........

Our photo birds are not on taking pictures 24/7. They are very expensive to use. They are not normally imagining when they are not over specific targets. It is very expensive to re-target them and not all that easy. It can take days meetings to get all parties involved with those resources to...

    XM deduction

I was listening to the Lockridge report today, they had some tax guys on. Those guys claimed that XM radio was a legit tax deduction. It is considered a "business too" since it is used for traffic reports, weather etc. Any ideas?

Free Cell Phone, Just not for you

Programs like this are just more examples of just why socialist governments do no work. Every hard working man and woman in this Nation is being "ripped off" by these "vote buyers" in Congress and the bums that take everything and pay nothing. Yes, just in case anyone wonders what I mean, the...

Why U.S. spy effort is failing badly

Greg, I am not so much defending Bush. I was just trying to point out just how long it takes to get agents truly up to speed. Oh sure, they can learn the "basics" fairly quickly, but, learning a "target" to the point where your "gut" knows what is up takes years of work, starting from the...

Only if they came off of land. Like that big self that broke off of Anarctica, that was already floating ice, not land based ice. It broke loose. Why? Many theories out there. One of theme is warming. One of them says that the Antartic glacier fields are growing faster than normal. That would...

The Greenland ice is land ice, not sea ice. Check again, floating ice has already displaced all the water it is going too. Melting 100% of floating sea ice will not raise ocean levels. Melting land ice will. Much of the ice is growing, not melting.

Much of the Northern Hemisphere tundra was not covered in perma-frost as little as 10,000 years ago. These things have been warming and cooling ever since the earth was formed. Nothing new under the sun. Why is the sea ice melting? It is far below freezing. Have ocean currents shifted a bit...
