I agree with the voltage drop causing the problem. Check your batteries too. They may be getting weak. Mine inverter is wired in exactly as you have yours and I have not had that problem. Layoutshooter

Ride alongs may or may not work, hard to say. What would work is proper training. A dispatcher should know if a truck can get into the delivery/pickup site be for they dispatch them. Sounds like you had a very bad day. I guess things should always be looked at on an individule basis. I have had a few problems on the road and have had help from other drivers most of the times. I don't know why no one would help that night but it is ALWAYS bad when people act that way...

OK, I was just talking with a driver who told me he was ticketed in NY state for running a diesel APU on his truck. The cop told him the NY law reads NO diesel engines can be idled. I thinks he was pulling my leg on this one. Anyone out there heard of anything like this? Layoutshooter
