WikiLeaks: Bush Admin. Planned Trade War to Promote GM Crops

And some people believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy, but that doesn't mean they exist. Very true, and it happens all the time, and not just by the US. You'll get no argument from me that Monsanto has done some bad things, and will likely do more. But for what...

Wikileaks Reveals US Won't Comply With Treaty Obligations

Well, I for one am shocked, shocked, I tell you, that the US government would refuse to cooperate with a criminal investigation where the US government is the subject of the investigation, and would be the defendant. This kind of behavior is just unheard of, despite the fact that according to...

WikiLeaks: Bush Admin. Planned Trade War to Promote GM Crops

In the quoted text it's really hard to see where the Guardian reporting ends and the clearly biased Blogging resumes. "...the American government using diplomats to engage in flagrantly corrupt behavior on the part of for-profit interests is startling." What's even more startling is that...

WIkileaks: US Pressures German Internet Privacy

Smaller government and less intervention in the markets are both good things, I would think. But Germany is over-the-top insane about privacy issues, and that's from where this stems. You can't even get a speeding or red light camera photo of you taken in Germany without everyone in the car's...

In a-ha moment, words viral, epic consigned to trash

synergy (and synergistic) virtually (and virtual reality) green (and green technology) "The all new..." when used in any motor vehicle advertising The "gate" suffix added to anything because it's some kind of scandal (if we have another scandal at the Watergate Hotel, and it becomes...

Thouands Of Dead Birds Fall From Sky In US

Then again, Beebe is a town of about 4500 people. Between 4000 and 5000 birds fell dead from the sky. Coincidence? I'm thinking this might be some "bird in the hand" New Year's thing to bring good fortune. That, or Bastet, the Great Feline Goddess, was simply thanking the good people of...

    Naughty Donald Duck

Classic overreaction and fake outrage in the quest for easy money from a big company. Donald Duck cops a feel, and she has post-traumatic stress, nightmares, digestive problems and other injuries. How in the world has this woman managed to survive 27 years in a society that contains, you know...

New Pilot/Flying J Frequent Fueler Advantage Program

I still have my old card, and I registered the Pilot card, as well. Now both show up, but only the old Flying J card shows as being the "pump start" card. I'll combine the points from both cards onto the Flying J card, then get rid of the Pilot card. And then I'll just go back to using the TA...

    Pay to the van O/O?

Sure there is: There is no way you are going to average 10,000 loaded miles a month in a cargo van. That's 120,000 miles a year. Really good, experienced van drivers can do 80,000 to 90,000, but most do closer to 60,000 miles. Actually, most do between 50,000 and 60,000 miles a year. A lot...

Go to the Web site and register, answer the two-question survey, and your old J card will be automatically registered for pump start (since you've already got a payment history on that card) and will have a shower credit added.

    Bad journalism?

Oh, it's probably more than that. Many laugh at both Birthers and those who think Bush stole the election. They're both the same.

The Constitution is TOO OLD to have ANY Binding Power...

An ad hominem attack? Considering the person you are talking about isn't even participating in this thread, no, I don't. Looks, smells and walks like a snipe, tho. Possibly, but it could have done without using an example so thinly veiled so as to be veiled with a single sheet of Saran wrap...

New Pilot/Flying J Frequent Fueler Advantage Program

I don't know any place that lets you buy gas the same way as diesel with a Comdata card, other than when you use the Comdata card as a debit card at the pumps, like at Walmart, Shell, anyplace that Maestro cards are accepted.

Mich gives Free ride,,Truck drivers excluded

Yeah, but you just got finished saying, "A good driver wouldn't be getting a ticket in the first place." You got two and consider yourself a good driver, yet someone else (other than your wife) who gets one is not?

    panther gripe

If you're doing the 60/40 thing, and you're getting the 60, then you should be paying 100% of the fuel. If you're getting the 40, then you shouldn't be paying a penny for fuel. In any case, the 45% PRO advance goes to 55% tomorrow, so that should help a little.

    Bad journalism?

I just hope that, when they land and say, "Take me to your leader," that they aren't talking to Greg. By the time he's finished explaining how we don't really have one and how things really work, they'll have given up and gone home. The president may not be a dictatorial ruler who answers to...
