    Re: An Injustice Averted

Oooooh, that's not why people are knocking him, not because he demands a higher rate. It's because he leaves the distinct impression of: <stomp> <stomp> <stomp> "How DARE you offer me such a pedestrian rate! Do you have any... idea... who I am!?!?"

Yeah, there's 2 or 3 of them. The Ingersall Dinner Theater, one of the oldest, is no longer a full-time dinner theater, and is just a restaurant now. But there are 2 or 3 theater troupes that perform at various locations around town, depending on if it's the "Jest For Fun" comedy murder mystery...

    Re: An Injustice Averted

In the immediate, short term picture, it doesn't. But in the long term big picture, it costs a lot more to sit than to move. The clock ticks relentlessly on fixed expenses. Every minute you sit, those costs go up in relation to revenue. Every mile you drive, those costs go down. It affects...

    Put me in charge

Rights are routinely taken away from people as punishment for them taking away the rights of others, as with a felon. Taken to its logical conclusion, people think it's OK to punish those who are on public assistance by taking their rights away. To say that it's voluntary, which makes it OK...

That's the number you yourself provided as to how long it would take to run that load. It would seem that you value your time and equipment too much... period, without qualification. That's known as cherry picking. Everybody out here knows that you have to figure things, including profits, on a...

Where are you seeing this? Because others aren't seeing it at all. It's actually illegal to advertise a different price than is at the pump. The only difference you will see involve CASH, CREDIT, or TAX EXEMPT.

There ya go. Used to be long hair, tie-dyed T-shirts, those wild-eyed and bushy-tailed sideburns of the 70s, ripped jeans and bell bottom pants, multi-colored hair, women wearing football shoulder pads, It's Hammer Time... Can't Touch This, tattoos, Texas Hair, underwear as outerwear, and the...

I'm not even sure that you even can. The only way I've found to edit my posts on the Droid is to use the Moderator Functions and edit them that way. It's been so long since I've used a non-paid version of Tapatalk that I'm not sure if an Edit function is available. (sorry to further explode...

If you do a site search for "clavin" and one for "claven", to account for the misspellings, you will see that perception is not even remotely correct. I don't know about the emoticons, but the use of "lecture" certainly didn't help the inference, considering I've only mentioned it once, and my...

    Why is it?

Exactly, we kicked the riff-raff out of Kentucky back in the 50s. They went to Michigan. Look at Kentucky today. Look at Michigan today. There ya go. :D

Under 26,000 lb Straight with Hydraulic brakes CDL or no CDL?

What part sounds stupid? The vehicle of your choice part? All states have that for Class C, since Class C is for any vehicle that wouldn't otherwise be a CMV if it were not for the endorsement. Meaning, if you want to carry placarded HAZMAT in a soccer mommy van or a Camry, that's fine, but you...

Even for LTL drivers pulling doubles, as long as they stay within 100 miles of their home terminal they don't have to log.

Ha! If I got showers using Obama Math, I'd spend a thousand bucks for an eleven dollar shower, and then the shower would be given to someone else.

Yeah, big and straights, 50 gallons at a time isn't much of a problem, but for vans it is. A second tank is just stoopid expensive, plus the added weight of a second full fuel tank can be a significant problem with a Sprinter that has enough problems with weight as it is.

Yes, they would, because anything over 10,000 pounds in a CMV.
