Hope all Canadians had a blessed day, spent with friends and family. What is it with the turkey? We have fish or game that I either caught or shot myself. Let's see, IF I lived in Canada I would likely be having wild duck, maybe moose, and either perch or pickerel. (walleye).

We do all we can to utilize our reefer as much as possible. It roughly accounts for 40% of our loads and 70% of our revenue.

We are speed limited at 65MPH. We drive between 60-62MPH. Just as we did prior to the limiter.

I guess I don't worry about it. I do what I want, what others do or think is their business. Perch are good on Lake Erie in the fall. We fish for them while we are duck hunting. On a good day we all shoot a limit of ducks and will catch 50 or so "jumbo's" We don't do much walleye fishing this...

Deer hunting is a LOT of fun. It is my second most favorite type of hunting. Duck hunting is #1 for me. Target shooting and shooting while hunting is just a bit different. The basics are the same. In real life shooting you often don't get time to get into a "perfect position" for the shot...

BUSY week last week. One of our best this year. We picked up in Olean, NY on Sat and delivered it this morning at 0230 in Zeeland MI. Had some time at the house to get in a 34 hour reset. Pick up tomorrow near Chicago going to ON.

You got that right my friend. I don't mind winter at all. Most of the time it is far easier to get around in winter than summer. Fewer cars, less construction delays etc. It is also easier to keep warm that to cool off when hot. I wonder if tires wear less in winter?

I saw a major drop in quality when Lowrance and Eagle moved their production down to Mexico. When I talked to them they said it was cheaper to replace bad units than to make higher quality units here. Talking with friends still in that business nothing has changed. They still have a high fail rate.

Time to pay attention to the Weather Channel, just like in tornado season. Weather can play the dickens with you if you are not ready for it. We have made several detours of the time we have been in this business to avoid winter storms. It is harder dodging tornadoes though.

Maybe the Transit being built here rather than is Mexico will turn out for the better anyway, if these M2's are any example of Mexican production.

It's ok here. It is sunny, not hot. This time of year I like the temp around 40, all the time. Day and night. Just 40. Don't want ice during duck season! LOL! It was a nice day here in upstate NY. On of those fine days that autumn produces! It would have been a great day on the salmon...

That would suck. Keep in mind that the fishing is REALLY good this time of year! Maybe, if you are stuck, you can find a way to take advantage of some of it.
