    speed limiter

If you're governed at 65 and cannot go any faster, why would you drive as fast as possible if there were any circumstance where you might need to go, you know, faster? If you're driving as fast as you can, blow a steer, and suddenly need more power, you're kinda screwed, aren't ya? <snort>

The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative, or WHTI, requires U.S. and Canadian travelers to present a passport or other document that denotes identity and citizenship when entering the U.S. It is a result of the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 (IRTPA). Acceptable...

    speed limiter

No. If they hook up their electric geegaw to the truck's computer, that's how they can tell if it is speed limited or not. Well, if you exceed the allowable speed limit they'll also know you aren't limited, which is how they nail most people. Am I to understand you accepted a load to Canada...

    Rand McNally TND 700/710 junk?

Garmin is the best. All the others are Gamin wannabes. Some work better than others, none are as good as a Garmin.

    Used Vans

Mostly in the Midwest. De Land between De Leon Springs and DeBarry isn't exactly the hotbed of failed expedite cargo de vans. Sometimes I crack myself up.

If you reach for the Gold and grab it, you, too can have the MCP200 installed in your truck (or trucks, depending). It's one of the Precious Metal Perks.

The MCP200 Mobile Computing Platform (and the MCP50, MCP100) is an EOBR, and it does logs. That's how it's designed, sold and bought. If yours doesn't do logs, it's because they haven't enabled that function on yours.

    Romney's Mormonism an issue

Topical news articles posted without comment are either SPAM or trolling, so cough it up. Whatcha think, dood? What's interesting? What's not? What do you agree with, or disagree with, and why? :D

MDX Customer Service and fraudulent bills

The only other conclusion would have to be that a petty functionary sitting in the offices of the Miami Toll Road Authority is purposely trying to repeatedly bilk ones or even tens of ones of dollars from the owner of a out-of-state license plate that coincidently matches that of a Florida...

    Occupy Wall Street?

Yes, people should take responsibility for their actions, but your view seems to want to hold the banks and the government utterly blameless, despite the fact that the banking industry has been for decades, with the help of the government, orchestrating things so as to suck people in and make...

You betcha. The Compute! Gazette, RUN, Ahoy, Commodore Power Play, Info, Commodore World, Die Hard, lots of them. I really liked it when they started including disks of all the programs in the magazine. Waaaay better than having to type in all those peeks and pokes. :D

I know exactly what you mean. Even though my access was free for being a Qguide and for working for Berkeley, when I moved back to Murray from Nashville I lost my "local" dialup number, having to call long distance to connect. That severely cut into my online time, causing withdrawal symptoms...

    Did anyone else get this?

We got the promotional offer because we've registered our loyalty cards online or at the kiosk. Many also registered as a cargo van expediter, if applicable, and that's why this program being offered to vanners is a joke and an insult. It's just one more example of how Pilot fails to understand...

MDX Customer Service and fraudulent bills

That sounds more like a database mistake (unintentional error) rather than fraudulent (intentional deceit, trickery, dishonesty).
