    Tapatalk down still?

Many people had a problem where it would work, but only from the main app, not when using a "favorite" or a widget. Uninstall and reininstall fixed it. If you have more than one version installed (full version, trial version, or the EO version), uninstall them all.

    Being sick on the road

I'm referring to the post directly above my reply. It might not be an obvious personal attack to most, but it's there just the same, and it's uncalled for.

    Being sick on the road

Kind of a lame, backhanded, personal pot-shot. No need for that sort of thing, is there?

    Revert to dino oil?

It also means less of a chance of your oil finding its way into a landfill, not to mention it's just that much less oil we as a country have to import from those Canadiennes.

    Revert to dino oil?

Fram filters are generally regarded (by the anal types who do this research) to be the bottom of the barrel of oil filters. They're fine if you plan on changing them out rather quickly, but for extended intervals not so much. Fram, Penzoil, Quaker State, a few others, are all cheaply made by...

    Where does Paul stand?

Good example. Most dolphins would have used are instead of is, spelled intelligent correctly, and would have used than instead of then. Dolphins spend most of their time in schools. :D

    Revert to dino oil?

Incidentally, for Sprinters and others who use Mobile 1 synthetic oil, Autozone has 5 quarts and a filter on sale through Feb 6, for $29.99. Stock up. For Sprinters, the deal comes with a Bosch oil filter, but the deal is only good for a filter up to $6.99, and the Sprinter's Bosch filter...

    Revert to dino oil?

You should do a Blackstone near the end of that 13,000 mile cycle. More than likely, you can easily go 15,000 to 20,000 miles between changes. Most all of the top end synthetics are designed for 20,000 or so. Manufacturers recommend 15,000, which of course is on the conservative side. An oil...

    Revert to dino oil?

One of the "best practices" with oil is find an oil, and stick with it forever. Every time you change viscosities or brands, the engine will wear just a little differently. Synthetic oil extends the interval, longer than many people realize, and synthetic will nearly always result in slightly...

    January Banter and Location

I'm preparing to watch, on ESPNU, Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles at Murray State Racers in NCAA Division 1 basketball. Teeny tiny Murray State is off to their best start in school history (17-0) and is ranked #15 in the nation (14th the coaches poll). How kewl is that? And it's with only two...

Should I hang in there or move on to another Carrier

First, sitting for three days between loads is not all that uncommon, especially when it's slow. But it can absolutely happen during the busy periods. Just depends on where you are sitting. Second, larger carriers aren't as busy per-truck as you might think. Many of those trucks sit, as well...

Is this it for Ron Paul?

Calling a "hockey stick graph" a specialized scientific definition is a bit over the top, I'd say. A "hockey stick" has two primary definitions: something used to propel a ball or puck in hockey; and....wait for it.... something shaped like a hockey stick. That the term is used to describe a...

    Cargo van per mile

I am the proud owner of a 60-inch sleeper, with a 30-inch permanent bunk and a 30-inch living room. :D Actually, when you figure in all the space from the dash to the rear of the bunk, it's about 96-inches. A desk where the passenger seat used to be serves as a desktop for computer, television...

    Getting your "N" or "X"

The link to the definition is found here: Definitions. - Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration I do wonder if individual totes, when carried as cargo, is the same as "...that is either permanently or temporarily attached to the vehicle or the chassis".

Having his cake and eating it to!!

I'm not spinning anything. I'm merely laying out the facts on a foundation of reality. When he says he's never voted for an earmark, that's true. I don't know what context you puled that from, but no one, and I mean no one, has ever voted for an earmark. Earmarks are not brought up for a vote...

Would you pay $20.00 a week for Ez Pass and Pre Pass.

The people who promote and distribute the PrePass transponders estimate .4 gallons per stop (and 5 minutes per stop). They use these figures in their "Savings Calculator". I think the .4 gallons per stop is a bit high. It's closer to .15, maybe as high as .2 gallons per scale stop. 5 minutes...
