Panetta: Israel May Strike Iran This Spring

True enough, living by the Golden Rule is idealistic. It's a goal by which I try and live my life. I'm not always 100% successful, but I do try my best to treat others as I expect to be treated. The concept of the Golden Rule works with individuals and with groups both large and small. The...

Should porn on a public library computer be ok?

Are you actually saying there are no legitimate purposes for looking at porn, none whatsoever, and those who do are therefore unsavory socially and morally objectionable characters, in every case? If so, that's an awfully, awfully tall moral high horse you're riding. Careful not to fall off.

Panetta: Israel May Strike Iran This Spring

The Golden Rule is sooooooo haarrrddd. Incidentally, you know that list of the countries which sponsor terrorism? The US isn't on that list. Do you know who wrote and maintains the list? The US Department of State. It's funny because it's truuuuuu. Tip your waitresses, I'm here all week.

    I hate glass.

I replace a windshield and usually within a week I've got a chip or a small crack, then nothing for several months, then another one that finally renders it in violation. My current one was replaced Jan 3, and it's gone more than a month now in pristine condition. That may be a record. :D

    Psi? ?

I run 55 front / 80 rear in the Sprinter, as per manufacturer recommendation. I tried 80 all around, but the front tires wore more quickly, and unevenly. Went back to 55/80.

    I hate glass.

The original factory windshield was also a Pilkington windshield. Pilkington is the sole OE (factory) supplier for Sprinter (and nearly all Mercedes) windshields. One out of every three windshields world-wide are made by Pilnkington actually, including dealer and aftermarket brands (Safevue is...

    I hate glass.

I've had 6 windshields replaced on my Sprinter. All were done through the insurance obtained through the carrier, $100 deductible. I'm not even sure about Load One, but Panther's insurance allows two replacements per year. I think that's pretty much standard. One replacement was at a Binswager...

The old school of thought is to never change the transmission fluid. Unfortunately, there are very few old school transmissions on the road anymore. The function of the transmission fluid is to act as both a coolant and a lubricant, and as the fluid becomes contaminated with metal particles of...

    Obama condemns himself

It's really hard to dismiss him as a fool in post after post, for years, yet now, suddenly, his political rhetoric a freshman Senator is somehow important. Be that as it may... context is important. Full text of his remarks in the Senate on March 16, 2006, as Freshman Senator Obama: Comments...

Obama's War On The Catholic Church

Of course it's a lose/lose for Obama. Hopefully, more than just the Catholics will finally realize that this is simply a symptom of the real problem, however, the problem of the government sticking their noses where they don't belong, in the every day lives of its citizens. The government...

Indiana Republican Secretary Of State Convicted Of Vote Fraud

I thought only Democrats, liberals and ACORN engaged in such things. I learned that here on EO. Clearly, the story is incorrect.

Obama's War On The Catholic Church

Yes, you can be sure the other denominations are watching closely. Christians have a long and storied history of telling people what to do and how to live, especially with regards to the bedroom, and now the shoe is on the other foot, it's, well, it's an outrage, is what it is. It's an outrage...

The average lifespan of a Sprinter transmission is between 300,000 and 350,000 miles. Some go much longer, some crap out at 200,000. Mine went at 372,000. The Harrisburg Freightliner wanted $6400, plus installation for a new one (all the new ones not replaced under warranty are MB remans, same...

What your Kids are being Taught in Public Schools

How do I know? Because I use things like common sense, intelligence, critical thinking and reasoning to cut through all the crap. That's now I know. I can conclude which is the more likely scenario. I can also remember what the History lessons were when I was in high school, and they included...

No, because I looked at the PDF of the entire thing, rather than take the word of a radio talk show host who's job is to be controversial for ratings without regard to the truth. In other words, I choose the truth over the unsubstantiated lie. You, on the other hand, not only believe the lie...
