So this is now the law of the land, mandated by the Fed government... A few yrs ago the fed gov mandated "S" chip to cover ALL medical expenses for Children.....they dumped it on the states just as the will with alot of this, adding more to the Medicaid program that the States are mandated...

Coverage for Pre-existing conditions starts this yr for CHILDRENS ONLY...all others will wait..... and as far as SS crashing...they just saved it...where do you think these 3-4 yrs of taxsthat will be collected before ant benefits kick in is going to go....to keep SS solvent......

i have read 2014 before it kicks in... and ALL pre-existing conditions will get coverage.....mosst will get Medicare...and medicare turns down more claims and admissions then any private insurance carrier......
