We will see more and more of this as the years pass. We have no way to pay for what we have borrowed and continue to borrow. We have a congress and an administration who are hell bent on doing this country in. They are winning. WE are in serious trouble and the 'gemmie goober' and 'do gooders'...

I have NEVER had two loads that combined paid $18-20,000 profit to cover the cost of buying and installing a new reefer. A new one MAY pay for itself, although it would likely require moving it to a new(er) truck in a couple of years.

Reasons fewer reefer trucks: Government (CA) regs. High cost. Static rates. Company trailers. Fixed rate trucks AND people running for nothing just to roll.

First is plenty of water. Second, keep loaded and running. Third, LOTS of motel rooms. NO A/C in no idle areas due to not having an APU,

You are of course assuming that the media would report it. Right now homosexuals are part of the 'favored class'. Their 'hate crimes' etc could be under reported so as to show them in a better light. Just as 'religion' is under attack from the left, as always, so ANYTHING that can be done to...

People are people. Homosexual or straight, makes no difference. IF it has not happened yet, it will.

There just are not all that many homosexual parents. As their numbers increase so will the rest. They are not immune to anything, even the horrors of killing children. They have NO problem killing their spouses, other people, etc. They are human. They are as flawed as much as the rest are.

Spending HOURS crunching numbers. We ALSO have to consider that our APU is dead and needs replaced. What we REALLY need is to hit the lottery and then I can just play. NOW, if someone would just buy me the winning ticket! LOL!! :p

Picking up in Phoenix later today, heading for LA. Deliver in LA tomorrow. Then off to Los Vegas for a Friday pick up heading for KC.

We were told about the same. $8-9000 just the engine. $16-19,000 for a reefer. Not worth is for the engine alone in my book. IF we upgrade we will go the new reefer rout. We have yet to decide if it is worth it. Racking my pea brain over that one.

Better be VERY well armed if you move into Detroit. Detroit, at this point in time anyway, is NO place for human beings.
