Yeah, they care about the empolyees as the unions do!! LOL!!! Like when our union when I worked for the State of PA signed a contract that allowed them to lay us off but allowed prison labor to do the work that they claimed was not there. That was the reason they laid us off.

We are running our business like times were still bad. Only taking time when required. We did luck out this weekend. I am home to take my dad to the DR. I think his is a bit worried. He really seemed relieved that I could take him, LOL, he only tried to talk me out of it for about a minute!!

We try to avoid Laredo. We have not been there for almost two years now. There is little of "our kind of freight" that move either in or out of that town.

Then Mexico is going to have to upgrade their entire industry. To include, a cdl program, HOS laws compatible with the U.S. and Canada, equipment upgrades, etc etc etc. Want to bet that does not happen but the program does?

Oh we could stop it if all agreed that it needed stopped and then did something about it. That will never happen.

There is no use for me to write my senators or congressman, they will do as Obama tells them. Shoot, they seldom answer when I do write them. They have no respect for the People. They believe that we are their subjects.

Our freedoms were won by the deaths of many. I have always defended those rights and wish to insure that they never go away. Those "dirty commies" you are speaking of only wished to destroy our freedoms. There was far more to that so called "Cold War" than most know about. I did not take that...

If this start to the year is any indication of how the rest of the year is going to be just wait until Oct and Nov. I see many 34 hour resets then!! We only had two 34 hour resets last year and most likely would have had one soon if this unexpected weekend off had not come up. Ya gotta love it!!

Kent State was a dark day in our history, of that there is no doubt. Were all of those students there totally innocent? Not likely. What I find amazing is how the outrage and sympathy is so one sided. I have never heard the same outpouring for those sailors that were thrown down an elevator...

Mrs. Layoutshooter has, once. She found it, distastefull to say the least. Very bigoted from our point of view. Seems that "Freedom of religion" is often limited to those who agree with some who don't always belive in that idea.
