Not dead yet...but yea slowly being phased out...i drive a CV with a good carrier and I do very well, but my load count is limited my my not having a bigger Sprinter type van... now that being said, there will always be freight for CV's and there will be carriers that will contract with them....

They are not striking...they have called in sick...if it can be proven that they were in Madison rioting, then they committed fraud and their firing would be justified....and should happen asap...

The no passenger rule has to do with Insurance...are you willing to take the chance of getting into an accident that would be no problem if it is just you in the van, but you have a passenger and they get hurt and the insurance company won't cover anything including what they would normally...
