Guy Gets caught breaking into trailers, Killed

If one of the people who subdued him stated in court that Bell stated "I have a gun," then it's not hearsay, it's direct testimony. Hearsay is where the witness does not have direct knowledge of the fact asserted, but knows it only from being told by someone. If the officer genuinely thinks you...

Guy Gets caught breaking into trailers, Killed

If you are referring to this particular astute member, you are incorrect. All I'm doing is balancing out those with zero facts who have enthusiastically jumped to conclusions, with equally zero facts that could have different conclusions. I have absolutely no idea what happened, who did what, or...

We're just giving you things to consider. The thing is, you really need to be out 3 weeks minimum at a time, then home for a few days, then right back out. And in a van you sit enough days as it is, so you can't be overly choosy about your loads and where they are going. This isn't like general...

Sinkhole under the Corvette Museum in KY

Painful to watch. That area of Kentucky, near Mammoth Cave, caves, springs and sinkholes are pretty common. The underlying rock is mostly limestone, and the springs eventually just eat it away, expanding the caves, and sometimes cause sinkholes. Amazingly, the building itself isn't damaged at...

Guy Gets caught breaking into trailers, Killed

The cowardly murderers stated that he was breaking into trailers, they didn't say he was stealing anything. I've been the victim of crime, so that notion is well known to me.

A cowardly murderer is released from jail.

I like it when people accuse others of things they themselves are best known for.

Guy Gets caught breaking into trailers, Killed

The only things we KNOW is that he is dead, and that he was was on private property, but we don't know why he was there or how he got there. We certainly don't KNOW that he was caught breaking into trailers, or that he claimed to be armed with a gun, as those things were alleged by the people...

I want to know about the heroic murderers.

Guy Gets caught breaking into trailers, Killed

Was he actually trying to break into trailers? Was he actually trying to steal anything? Even those facts are yet to be determined.

Correct. The revenue in a cargo van or Sprinter is simply not enough to split between an owner and a driver so that either one make any livable wage. With a van you are much better off owning your own and just doing it. So, you're not going to heed my advice above and you're gonna do this...

    ceva and sprinter vans

Unless you were a CMV the previous 7 days, then you weren't required to log those days at all. It's easier, prevents confusion, and speeds things up at the scale house, however, if you simply go ahead and log the previous 7 days as OOS. If you haul placarded stuff once a month or every couple of...

You will never make enough money in a van to support a stay-at-home-mom and kids. You will, however, make enough to turn her into your future ex-wife into single mother looking for work.

    Religion in America

Any word requiring such a lengthy explanation seems to be an overly strenuous attempt to create a highly emotional pejorative (once you've educated everyone about just how emotional they're supposed to be after hearing it), in order to make the speaker feel better than, or superior to, those he...

NON-CDL TRUCK can I add tag axle... questions

Air brakes have nothing to do with a CDL. The CDL is about vehicle weight, not whether or not it has air brakes. You are correct, there are plenty of non-CDL trucks out there with air brakes, and you don't need a CDL to drive them.

NON-CDL TRUCK can I add tag axle... questions

Actually you would be, as long as the truck never weighs more than 26,000 pounds. <rimshot> You need a CDL to drive a truck that has a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,001 or more, OR if the truck weighs 26,001 or more regardless of its rating.
