Dave, how do you deal with all the people that approach you and want you to buy their trucks
We get PM's and emails several times a week with folks that want to get out from under a vehicle. 9 out of 10 are a situation of distress for...
There are several, but the one we use the most is
NTTS Breakdown
There is also www.truckdown.com
If it is a truck under warranty, then use the manufacturer directory.

Nice post DAVE,I will sell my truck n go to work 4 u i will make more money lol ty.
You just might. Just about all of our current/past drivers have been former owner operators. Couple of exceptions over the...
To be fair, many companies don't allow, or are difficult to work with with regards to obtaining your own freight.
But even with that aside, it still requires that dedication to task.
That is a good point. It is actually one (but not limited to) the reason we stopped using them.
If the one truck owner operator is using them and finds a benefit, all well and good. From a fleet owners prospective, the liabilities outweigh the gains.
I hope so. Recent posts lead me to believe that some are looking through a very narrow glass. I did a post like this several years ago, but it seemed like it needed to be addressed again.
Again, my apologies for the length. It is a difficult item to address in a handful of lines.
After reading several posts, their seems to be some misunderstanding of what a fleet owner actually does. Just as there are poor fleet owners, there are poor drivers.
Will try to keep the post from turning into a 5000 word essay.
Probably alittle overdue based on some recent posts.
We do...
apparently 1st amendment rights don't apply here...especially when the truth is involved
Who is to say it is the truth? No one knows. What was posted was nothing more than hearsay from one source with no substantiation of the facts.
This site is not for that purpose as another member...
I would say 80 or 90k in a van really isn't that bad based on the numbers that others report.
I can't compare as we don't do any vans. At 400,000 gross I would think you would be ok, but as they say, "it isn't what you make, its what you have left".
Yep...those "cheap" loads that some refuse to run can be the gravy train for others if they know what to do with them.
And your right.....the bank doesn't discriminate.
