Well, well, well, the golden girl on the grill

Not the first time that there was a cover up for a debacle at an embassy involving a Democrat president either. Not that the party matters, I have little doubt that if it had been a Republican president in office when we lost an embassy that his/her/it's lack of action would be covered up as...

    Bull's Eye

This is a very well written piece. Far more people are finally starting to stand up for what is right. It is time to call it like it is. Setting the Record Straight: the Enemy is the Enemy Penning this piece on January 21, 2013, I find it befuddling that there are still people in the...

87 car pile up in Cincy and a 52 car pile up in Middletown

I experienced the same thing when I got hit by that hail storm a couple of years ago. I did see it coming and managed to get the truck slowed down to about 10MPH before it hit. The rain was so heavy I could not tell up from down. Then the hail hit. I somehow got the truck off to the shoulder...

Yeah, you can lose your sense of direction in a white out or heavy fog. Tailgating is still the primary problem, so is not driving at speeds that conditions dictate.

87 car pile up in Cincy and a 52 car pile up in Middletown

In the day time I can normally have a bit of warning. There have been times at night when I have been caught unaware by a sudden white out. I have, on many occasions seen "instant fog". Totally clear and a second later, zero visibility. That is common on and near the Great Lakes.

87 car pile up in Cincy and a 52 car pile up in Middletown

When confronted with a white out I slow down, put my flashers on, and look for the next exit to get off the road. One should NEVER stop on the road unless forced too. Many of the problems we see could easily be avoided if people would stop tailgating.

Wonder how many trucks were lost to "Carb" rules Jan 1st?

I use to love drifting by the Fermi nuke plant with a crawler harness in the warmer water limiting out on walleye....and the water got super clean once the Zebra mussels invaded the great lakes....hard to believe Lake Erie caught on fire in the past. The walleye are still very thick on the...

Nanny New York State to ban novelty lighters.

No. They did, however, design the first M16. They never produced them. Colt did. Mattel only designed the exterior of the rifle, Colt designed the guts.

    Anti America

I never have. I was willing to put my life on the line for it. Yeah, we have messed up, BUT, it was NEVER from lack of trying. We will prevail. There are ONLY two choices, freedom or slavery.

We are at home. We are watching the Red Wings home opener. We have a load for the 24th picking up near hear and heading for MD. It is +7 now. Nice fire in the wood stove. Good thing. The APU on shore power is only able to keep the truck at +40. That does not bode well. So much for new toys.

Our experience with C&M Transport so far...

I agree, BUT, I KNOW, from experience, that a good worker, a hard worker, should NEVER be turned away. I used to work in the "high tech" industry. I was NOT a nerd. I did have a very good work ethic, and was willing to learn. As I progressed I never was a nerd. I did, have, a TON of "feel" for...

You know, I am not so sure I am 100% opposed to "wheel holders". IF they were GOOD wheel holders, worked hard, produced a profit, and left the rest to me, I think I could live with that. In fact, I know I could.

Drama queens? Maybe. OR, maybe many of us are just sick and tired of seeing everything we believe in trashed by a bunch of malcontents, scumbags and gimmie goobers. There are MILLIONS who are just sick and tired of the crap. There are MILLIONS of us who still have a PASSION for freedom and still...

So is the manufacturing process needed to produce "cleaner" reefers and engines to replace perfectly functioning equipment. Not to mention that they were LEGAL when built and SHOULD remain so for the normal life of the equipment. As new trucks/reefers are bought the newer, cleaner, units will...

Wonder how many trucks were lost to "Carb" rules Jan 1st?

The regs that CA is stuffing us with is based on, in part, bogus research, by a man who faked his education. It was meant to "PROVE" that man is the cause of everything bad. The so called "green movement" has little credibility left. The regs are more than suspect. Laws regulation SHOULD be...
