    What Would You Do?

Also, to the party who said, EO does enough on here without stepping in and solving other parties problems......I am wondering what does EO actually do for us. EO provides a venue for all who wish to speak out. Like any opportunity, some make better use of it than others. True they provide...

    Unexpected Passanger

The last vulture to leave the roadside buffet got caught on my passenger side west coast mirror. Held in place by a wing caught in the supports, he rode along with me (dead) completely blocking the mirror, for about 45 miles. :(

    New Scam!!

I don't recall any problems with the Garmin in NY  though it does go nuts in Laredo sometimes.

    Confused by fuses

I will check the marker lights, at least the ones on the bottom. ;) When it stops raining. (Though it wasn't raining when or before the inspection occurred.)

    Solo, with wife an baby

The short answer is no. Lack of recent experience aside, any carrier that would permit a baby on board either has no insurance, or ignores the insurance requirements, and carriers in that position don't last long.

    Wonder how true this is?

Without presuming to reply for Letzrockexpress, this is what scares ME: that you seem to be 100% dead certain that you know not only what Obama will do, but what he thinks. And what you say is his objective, or motivation, or 'real' plan, is just too much for me to accept - particularly when...

    What Would You Do?

The guilty party is the US Postal Service - don't believe they advertise here. And why should EO be responsible for solving everyone's problems anyway? They do more than enough as it is, IMHO.

10 Facts About US Health Care

But we can, and SHOULD blame the doctors for the immunity of many organisms to antibiotics caused by indiscriminate prescribing of antibiotics - they have NO credible reason to do so. It's a serious problem, in that there are now organisms that respond only to specific antibiotics given by IV...

Man shot, killed while breaking into semi's cab

Inability to think in a rational manner being the definition of some mental illnesses, who knows what they might think, or do? We'll never eliminate the problem of weapons ending up in the wrong hands, but the point is that it shouldn't stop law abiding citizens from exercising their rights...

    Ladies, interested in National Health?

The actress who fell on the ski slope was more a victim of traumatic brain injury than the lack of medical care - like most victims of a closed head injury, she denied the care offered in the immediate aftermath. Lacking any visible signs of injury, victims often deny any damage, thus delaying...

Man shot, killed while breaking into semi's cab

In Michigan you have to ask permission and take clases to get a CCW. Imagine, having to ask permission to excercise your Rights under the Constitution. I have no problem with the requirement to demonstrate knowledge of safety procedures for firearms - I think it's a good idea, actually. As are...

    Questions re: MVR, CVOR, DAK.

DAC (not DAK) can be obtained online from the DAC website, for a fee, naturally.

    New Scam!!

It is a good point: how can the driver be held responsible for someone jumping onto the step of the truck? How are we supposed to dislodge him, without risking injury to him?

    Twic

That letter made me wonder what it would say if they hadn't cleared you? "Kindly stay right where you are until someone comes to arrest you"?

    What Would You Do?

Try Hours is the only one who can answer the question, Mike, as they surely have a policy on undelivered checks. [Most want to wait 30 days before reissuing]. If they offer direct deposit, I'd sign up, and if they don't, I'd ask for it - mail is always prone to problems.

    What Would You Do?

PS If the check really was mailed, I think the policy is to wait 30 days before reissuing it. That they aren't answering your emails is why I think they didn't actually send a check - if they had, they'd want to know what happened to it, doncha think?

    What Would You Do?

Mike, you're in a really tough spot. That your second email went unanswered is the clue - they're not sending your check, I bet. Unless you have an attorney on tap, or can hire one, what you do depends on where you live (contact the state's Labor Dept to file a complaint), and whether you're an...

Where were you on Sept 11th, 2001 ?

That was a day when I had reason to fear not only for the safety of the country, but of both my daughters, and it was truly awful. When the plane crashed in SW Pa, I feared for my elder daughter, who had moved to a small town in SW Pa just a week earlier, and didn't yet have the phone connected...

    This is a test

I could use another bumpersticker - even if I were still in the same truck, they tend to get weatherbeaten after awhile. Are there any vinyl window clings available, or in the works?

Star, where'd you get the graphics [on the truck] done? Looks good!
