    The Tea Party Strikes Again.

That's simply not true. I know it's the belief of the faithful right, but it's simply not true. The MSM reported the Benghazi mess from the beginning, it's just that they didn't obsess (pound) on it with a feeding frenzy. For the MSM, the facts dictated the coverage. For Fox News, the facts...

    The Tea Party Strikes Again.

That's a fair comment, and it's relatively accurate. But it's not that I'm heavily invested in slamming Fox News, per se, rather it's that I'm heavily invested in slamming hypocrisy. Fox News just happens to be one of the more blatantly hypocritical that opens itself up to slamming. I don't...

I didn't cherry pick, I simply picked the most recent winner of the award.

Malkin? Really? It's a good thing you don't live in Florida, or you and half the state would be well under water having dug that deep.

    The Tea Party Strikes Again.

NBC forgets things that make Obama look bad, Fox News makes up stuff that makes him look bad. Two sides of the same coin. There are two key things you need to see how a news organization stacks up in a journalistic sense. One is a basic knowledge of journalism. By that I don't mean watching...

    The Tea Party Strikes Again.

Man, you are really heavily invested, aren't you? You actually believe that Fox News is "Real Journalism" and that they're "Fair and Balanced." And you think the entire lib world is out to get 'em. You are so invested that you think not only is everyone on that list a lib, but they're on the...

    DOT Physicals

Right up until the point where you can't. I used to be the same as you, no high blood pressure, no high cholesterol, no diabetes, no sleep apnea. I still don't have sleep apnea, but one DOT physical I didn't have high blood pressure or high blood sugar or high cholesterol, not even any...

    The Tea Party Strikes Again.

Amazing, isn't it? I'll give those double WOWs right back for the nifty little either/or false dichotomy you've created there. Excellence in Journalism Awards aren't given out because they do or do not present a political point of view. In fact, a story presenting the "liberal side" is equally...

Right after the class on Turtle and his phone's autocorrect issues. And we'll have a roundtable discussion on Layout's woody over the whole woody thing. He can't stop talking about it.

Uhm, except for this instance where NOT and NO is the exact opposite. Six posts and right to Nazi Germany. Impressive.

That's the exact opposite of what happened, though.

    The Tea Party Strikes Again.

No, they don't have any excellent reporting. The news they report, and I mean the actual Five Ws, not the news interspersed with opinion and bias, is not excellent at all. They offer nothing whatsoever that you don't get anywhere else. There is no investigative journalism, no independent sources...

    The Tea Party Strikes Again.

That's the problem, they DON'T have some excellent news reporting in their news reports. It's far from excellent. It's mediocre at its best, and at its worst it's political commentary interspersed with or disguised as news. And that's not a bias, it's a fact.

I do, too. We need to form a club. Pretty soon we'll have enough people that will satisfy even the most argent numbers crunchers.

    The Tea Party Strikes Again.

Fox News has never won an award for journalism excellence, and until they start being a news organization instead of a comedy channel, they aren't likely to. Fox News... Real Journalism. Fair and Balanced. Now that's funny.

As usual, the "two truckers" kinda sorta got it right, but not really. The transport of intermediate bulk containers (IBC’s, or totes) can require the driver to have the tanker endorsement on their CDL. The definition of a “Tank Vehicle” was changed to this: “Tank vehicle means any...

Actually it's not. Likely because you never even heard of the National Magazine Awards until yesterday, when you became an instant expert. Name three judges. You can't, because they don't even have judges. You mean like William F Buckley Jr's The National Review with its near perennial wins...
