yea a hd 2500 is rated at 8600 and a 3500 is rated at 9600...not much of a difference...the difference come in the rear ale housing..the 3500 has a "full floating' axle and supports the higher loads, but we all know that we vanners run heavy if we have to...even with just a srw truck....:D...
