Good for your son. My year was odd. NO ducks after the first day or two. They showed up around Thanksgiving, so did the "Gales of November". Got blown off the water on that Friday. Ice on my sunglasses, decoys, everything. Maybe next season. I bet they pounded them this past week.

Got a lot of work done on the truck while at home. ALL the coolant leaks are now fixed. New rear brakes/drums, U-joint, steering U-joint and a host of "little things" to go with it. No more hunting, back on the road. It was an interesting time. VERY LITTLE game. The ducks did not really show up until the last few days. Heavy winds kept us off the Lake. It was, however, a GREAT time!! Got to spend time with many old friends and got to see a 10 year old get his first ducks...
