This sounds more like a problem with YOUR Ford van though. I get around 17-18mpg on my gasser Ford, even loaded. Diesels will get 21 on the hwy as well. A diesel Sprinter will definitely get better gas mileage than the new gas ones they're puttin' out, just by nature of the torque produced...

DannyD, You might just try finding out where the local facility is and contact them there. If I'm not mistaken, UPS Expedite falls under UPS Supply Chain Services. It will most likely be a different facility than your normal package one. Drive Safe! Jeff

Yeah, I used to work for a company here in Tampa that did most of Menlo Expedite's agent work. Had a few opportunities to do ride-on courier deliveries to Mexico. Never took one though. Paid out like $15 per hour to me to ride along with a carry-on package from the time I had to check in...

Actually Turtle, one of the reasons for not hauling HAZMAT in a van is due to not having an isolated box. Inhalant issues, whether on an officially marked HAZMAT load or not (A freshly painted industrial mechanical part is considered an inhalant problem), do not belong on a van. This is DOT...
