Was there pay for those miles that allowed for a profit, or as many of us are seeing today, those miles being offered at rates that were pretty good 5 years ago? More details?

    Nuts!

That is what entry level jobs are for. One can use them to their advantage or, as many seem to do these days, try to earn a career wage for an entry level position. Which is what the article was about. I would NEVER try to talk a KID out of starting out there. I would not even try to stop a...

    Nuts!

It is brain numbing. FLIP FLIP. Yes, IF you want to make it a career you CAN move up the ladder. Which is why I said the manager had to do something, not the flippers. Flipping burgers is a VERY good place to start out in life. It is, in NO way a $15 per hour job. That would drive prices...

    Nuts!

Sorry bubba, I have done both. Flipping burgers is a "starter" job. A first job. Working at McDonald's is not a brain stressing job for those of normal brain power It's brain numbing. I worked at a McDonald's. There was NOTHING that was hard. The manager, sure, the flippers? No way. We had to...

    Nuts!

Never have been! It still takes FAR more skill and responsibility to handle a truck on the open road, where lives are at stake, million of dollars freight at stake, than flipping burgers does. Whether they are normal or not! The ability to handle a rig is a true skill and should be paid as such.

    Nuts!

Not many lives endangered by a misflipped burger. Not many burger flippers take responsibility for multi-million dollar loads or put out a quarter of a million dollars for the truck that can handle that load. As for low education, speak for yourself.

    Nuts!

IF he wanted to set an example for his son he would improve his skill set, get a REAL job and show his son how a MAN supports his family. Those jobs are not worth more than what they pay. They are low skill, low responsibility jobs.

    Nuts!

Does not make much sense, does it? There is no "burger flipper" worth that much per hour. From what is see many of them are too lazy as it is anyway. The McDonald's today are just dirty. People I know that own similar places all complain how the people just don't want to work.

$15 per hour? To flip burgers? Are they NUTS? What is wrong with people today? A union? At McDonald's? I bet my no good for nuthin' Obama bum brother was there! :D:p HE believes that NO ONE should own a small business. That there should ONLY be large, government approved businesses and that...

HURRY UP!! Print your own handgun!

Lends an entire new meaning to the idea of a "toner cartridge". I wonder if they sell them a "Toners are Us"? Must be a real "high caliber" product! Bet you get a lot of "bang for you buck". I have to stop now, I am tired.

Yes, my M&P15 is only 6.85 lbs without the magazine. I love the material for reasons you describe but it is funny that some relatives have asked if it is real because the composite looks like plastic. Irrelevant to the OP though. :p the M&P is a nice piece. I don't believe it is irrelevant. I...

HURRY UP!! Print your own handgun!

Yes I do. You make the chamber and barrel out of carbon fiber. Just like some AR manufacturers are doing. They have solved that problem. Carbon barrels and chambers have been around for a very long time. You only have to keep the barrel below 330F which is where lead starts to melt. One...

HURRY UP!! Print your own handgun!

They can be, and have been, made entirely of wood. The government is in a total "snit" about firearms. They are blowing EVERYTHING out of proportion that they can. Most ammo, unless you buy or make you own plastic stuff will show. ALL primers will. This "gun" in the article is no more, but...

HURRY UP!! Print your own handgun!

You use plastic bullets in plastic cartridges. They already are on the market. ONLY the primer would show on an xray. Composite firearms weigh less than metal, make less noise when carried than metal. They are easier, and less expensive to make. MANY firearms makers are now starting to make...

HURRY UP!! Print your own handgun!

Why bother with his prints? Make a mold and use the 16# version of this 2 part foam. That stuff is VERY hard. It can be machined and even rifled. Make a bullet mold and you could "pour" bullets that a xray machine could not see. I have decoys made of this, they take direct hits from 12 gauge...

HURRY UP!! Print your own handgun!

All it proves is that, as always, their laws will NEVER be able to stop people from doing, or having, what they want. It did not work for booze, it has not worked for drugs and it will never work for guns. No need to even print them. There is ALREADY a thriving black market for guns where you...
