Spread of DNA databases sparks ethical concerns

I was not talking anything religious/faith based at all. I am not THAT kind of NUT! LOL!! Just talking about the human animal and how that applies in Caesar's realm, not God's. What happens in God's realm, and time, will happen when it does.

Spread of DNA databases sparks ethical concerns

NO government, or country, can stand once enough people decide that it will not. It may not happen in my lifetime, since I am SO OLD, but it WILL happen. Sooner or later things will become bad enough to strike the spark. It is only a matter of time. The bigger the government, the more corrupt...

    Tough time.

LOL! Yeah, us HobKnobers have it made! In reality, from where I live, it would cost me more in gas to drive to a range and back, several times a year than the dues cost. I pay $125 per year. IF I had time to do work details I could cut that to $100. It would only be, at today's gas prices...

Spread of DNA databases sparks ethical concerns

ALL governments are bad. DNA databases are being setup as a weapon against the People. There is NO legitimate need to sample everyone arrested. Freedom is like everything else in life, you use it, or lose it. Once given up it will never be returned. Better fight this now or you will HAVE to...

    Tough time.

I don't use public ranges. I joined Monroe Rod and Gun Club back in 2000 and have maintained a membership ever since, even though I don't get to use it much. It would be several years before another slot opened to get in again so I keep it up. Private gun clubs are the way to go if there is...

    Tough time.

Had a real tough time sighting in a rifle today. It was SO hot! There were heat waves coming off of the grass that were distorting my view. Sweat running into my eyes, my glasses kept sliding off and I could NOT keep my cheek right on the stock, it kept sliding around. I had boresighted the...

I believe 82 hours is too much

This is what happens when those in charge have zero experience in the area they are regulating. What we need is a regulation that requires ALL FMSCA regulators to have spent a minimum of 5 years DRIVING a truck, a year in dispatch, a year on the loading etc. Then and ONLY then will regulations...

I believe 82 hours is too much

That did not answer the question. ASSUMING a driver just sat for 34 or more hours straight, the driver would be as rested as could be, how would that make it dangerous to do 82? Rest is rest. Forcing the 9-5 thing increases congestion on the road and makes it more dangerous for everyone out...

I believe 82 hours is too much

Explain the NEED for the 1AM to 5AM rule and how it relates to safety. I can't think of how that makes things safer. Also, while we never did it, how would 82 hours in a work week be dangerous ASSUMING you just sat, resting, for 34 hours straight? How much more rested do you need to be?

1/2 hour break still going smoothly

EVERY career politician, and likely most politicians, are out ONLY for their own agenda and power, regardless of party. That goes for Obama, Bush and whom ever tries to take their place. NONE of them have the "good of the People" in their hearts. The more extreme, left or right, they are, the...

OK, insert jerk, control freak or tin horn dictator in place of idiot. Anything meant to be insulting will do. :p I have NO use for ANYONE who is out to control every aspect of my life. I have NO use for ANYONE who believes that THEY know what is good for me more than I do. Obama fits that bill...
