    What kind of Cb

Can you put a mod on any CB, not sure if I want to hear 60 to 70 out but a little more than mine would be nice, at least 10 to 15 miles, this would cover most of Fort Wayne

    Best lock?

I use master locks and I have the real good ones, you can't use most bolt cutters on it, maybe if they had the 5 foot handles, they might work.(ask me how I know this LOL) I use graphite to keep the lock mechanism working well, I have had problems with frozen locks when we get ice rain, but a...

    Snooty or Snotty Part III

You can still get the old formula Nyquil Dayquil, it's behind the counter at the local drug store and still has the psudefedrine(spelling), Sudafed is what I like for a cold with a tylenol chaser It does not make you drowsy a plus while driving :) I also swear by Zycam for preventing the cold...

    New to EO

Sound like you might work for Aramark LOL How physical depends on a lot of things. Straight truck or van driver? A lot of loads are skids put in your van or straight truck. You could also have loads that are hand unload. At Ceva and Towne Air I would say my work is about 50/50 half...

    Another Year Ends

I am in the same boat as far as unpaid deadhead on hotshots, my solution was and is to run more local, glad I have that option.:) When the weather gets nicer I might be up for some more road trips, who knows.

Have a job but No Truck... HELP Please...

I have to agree with the other posters. I am new to expediting, I started in April of this year, I am not new to driving straight trucks. Expediting is a whole other beast. My company is not a true expedite only company, but I am still struggling, I'm going to make it, but it hasn't been...

Touring a 80 year old factory making model T's

My Grandfather who was born in 1922, said that flat tires occured almost everytime they drove anywhere. They were a fact of life. Most people of the time knew how to fix the tires and also most other things on the car. Remember even in the 70's most cars need valve jobs around 25K and...

    Speed and the gps

I've noticed the same thing with my GPS, if it tells me I will arrive at a certain time, even if I am doing 5 over the speed limit I get there at that time, so why bother speeding if it's not really gonna save you any time. I get behind a semi and save a little gas, not tailgating but close...

Exactly, what I tell my Wife. She hasn't been in over 15 years, and yes she still has all her teeth, just like her dad who hasn't been in over 30 year(maybe they are just lucky) I think she was tramatized by a dentist when she was small. Dentists, dental work is totally different then 20 years...
