Ceva makes us pay for all the insurance, I thought that this is normal. Then again I am not restricted to only haul for Ceva, because the truck is insured by me, not Ceva. Do other companies pay for the insurance?

I have to agree, Ceva is great, just wish our branch was busier:) And yes, running local is harder somedays, but in return I get to sleep in my own bed.

Maumee, Ohio is really nice and is right off US24 and not to far from I75, not far from Toledo(actually could be considered at suburb of Toledo. Talked one of my friends into moving there and he loves it. Neat mall there called the Shops at Fallen Timbers:D

I did ask for the past history of truck, Leasing rep stated that it never had required major work, just the normal little thing that happen with these trucks, and that is one reason they decided to lease it to my even with 164K on the clock. Maybe it is a Hino issue, not a whole lot of history...

I really don't get much feedback on what they do to the truck, I usually have to ask and it's very vague info when I do get some. Was doing some year end paperwork and drove approx. 10K in lease replacement trucks and about 35K in my own truck, all of this since April

I wonder if these trucks are realigned after the sleeper and box are put on the frame or are they aligned for just the cab and frame. This would make a huge difference

alot of shops don't or can't balance the tire due to lack of the right equipment, find one that can!!!

I have driven a few frieghtliners and they all seemed to have the 45 mph shake. I know it's not common practice but maybe try balancing the tires. I assume this wasn't a problem at one point. Did this happen with the old tires or just the new ones? Have you hit any curbs, or huge potholes...

I don't think MPG would be affected by load placement. If I have skids that aren't tall and am not worried about them tipping I place the skids down the center of the floor(If they weigh over 2000 total, anything less does not affect ride at all). I corner slowly and never have had a problem...
