I was at Ford yesterday early AM and arrived st the same time as another expediter in a very old, very beat up un-labled van. The eastern European driver did not speak English and kept holding out his paper in answer to every question asked. So, I ask if you think his or his carriers insurance...

Just got a brand new Transit. 5400 thru CIS.

4 trips in 2 days and 3 ended in Detroit. In a week 180 loaded is longest so far.

This time of year it's called a tent! My long Transit allows the bed down across the back of the seats with 2 skids. Haven't had 3 yet.

Bolt - Needed to learn and they (Cori Clifton) were helpful. Couldn't make up my mind between them and Panther, then XIGGI said "You Gotta See What Works For You" in another post and I took that advice and picked one!

Thanks to all that talked me out of the 250 Transit and into the 350 LONG. Almost done up-fitting and hitting the road Sunday. It isn't luxury but it will work.

X-Man If you could, how about a picture, or anyone else too. Looking for the best way to keep Gas & Generator OUT of the van. Do your carriers give you any grief about mounting stuff outside the unit?? Or, I should ask, after sign on & orientation do you ever see your carriers again?
