Can I use my Class B RV as an expediter?

Cheri (or anyone else) That opens up a question I've been meaning to ask: Does anyone use their Tow Hitch to mount a 24 X 36 "carrier" to keep generator, fuel, etc., out of the van? Easily removed for loading/unloading but convenient while going from a to b??

    WHO DO YOU LOVE?

Another New "Newbie" Question: Just curious, where are some of y'all right now (not exact location) and are you parked for the weekend or still moving? Wondering what weekends are like IN GENERAL?

    WHO DO YOU LOVE?

New "NEWBIE" Question: When I am done up-fitting my van, I take it to a scale and weigh it. If it weighs 6500# and my GVW is 9500#, I assume that means I can accept 3000# loads if needed. I turn that in to my carrier and I'm off, correct? How often do you or your carrier review the weight...

Still on the Roof AC. I can get the Coleman Mach3 13,500 roof unit online cheap enough. Have any of you installed your own?? I am mechanically capable, but have never done this. My big concern is how strong the roof is on my High Top Transit. I will have to climb up on a ladder and I am not...

I could say that I think cool air dropping from the roof would be more even and comfortable than air blasting from the rear door forward. But, to be honest, it's a new 2015 Transit and I don't really want to cut a "makeshift" hole in the side/rear of van.

Boy - Am I Cornfused! My Ford Transit 3500 Extended is almost ready to hit the road. Now I am working on getting a roof top AC unit and I know nothing about them, (remember, this is the Newbies Forum). I have read several threads and also received some input already from y'all, but now I want...

I wish I had stayed awake more in skool. Please correct or confirm: If I have a small refrigerator, can it run and stay cool off the inverter/house batteries during the day - WHILE the house batteries are recharging when running, and then at night switch to the generator to allow 24/7...

XIGGI: have several questions open that I am interested in your (or anyone else's) opinion: brand and size of roof AC unit? brand and size of generator?

NOW - Let's bring back an older question. When it comes to power, recharging, heat, cold, etc., one of the questions is how long you can idle your truck engine. So, any info as to how this time frame relates to GAS vs. Deisel??

Dear Mr. Turtle - Thank you, this is proof that I should have stayed awake in my Science classes! However, I get it and can use it to determine what my needs are. While Mr. Ragman explained what a House Battery is I still have a void in knowledge that needs filling. Truck batteries are for...
