We just ran and ran and ran. Did not know what happened. Running again tomorrow.

We crossed from Ont to NY on I81. Truck traffic was VERY slow. Only our truck and one other. Car traffic, on the other hand, was a MESS! They had the cars stopped at the toll booth and were not letting any cross. The customs booths were PACKED with cars. Don't know why, just how it was.

Just downloaded it. The phone was a pain before, NOW it is an UGLY pain! What a nasty looking screen! :eek: I REALLY have to start working on getting rid of this "thing". I have hated it from day one. Now the screen is UGLY and I hate it worse! :mad:

Only short term. As our more high end customers get tired of inexperienced teams, more and more "vertical smiles", very sensitive loads restrained ONLY by straps etc, they WILL look for better teams/trucks/carriers. It is simple.

We are busy. So are most I have spoken to out here. You have to be careful about rates and stick to your guns, turning down loads that don't pay a reasonable rate. As you know, our freight is often "different" than many others freight, not quite as tied to the economy. We tend to avoid...

OH I KNOW you do and understand it. I am just posting this so that MAYBE some of the teams that are taking these horrible paying loads might understand what is going on.

One cannot stay in business long if all they do is run for fuel. Look at the REAL rate many of these loads pay. Take out the FSC, tolls, etc. and see what you are being paid to run the load. Many of the offers we have been seeing of late have been pretty scary.

There is a TON of fools out there who run crappy paying loads. SOON, that is all FDCC will have, low end contractors. It is already starting to show. FDCC would not have a problem covering loads if the rates matched the reality of what it costs to run them. My business plan is simple work at...
