It's about lunch time, being the only person in school that doesn't have a CDL permit makes days drag by. But next hopefully I'll get it and be in the truck with the rest. 2 people got their license this morning, one is going to drive a beer truck locally and the other I don't know right off hand.

It appears as though I may be getting my CDL class A permit either Thursday or monday. Then I go and actually learn basic stuff in the truck and parking shifting etc. then road stuff

I'm so glad in the 2 year I drove a van I didn't go to Laredo or El Paso. Went to Houston a few times but never those places....does that mean I wasn't a real vanner???

Thank you but I don't know how much smarts played into more than I've heard too many horror stories about those CDL mill companies. But so far I have a couple companies that the school works with that I'm interested in. They also have a couple I'm not but the choice of picking the company...

Half way thru my first day and so far I've watched a video filled in some forms and had a trans am recruiter come show us some vids and walk us thru his truck

Sitting here waiting for the school to open. I think going with a private school as opposed to a company school is the right move for me. It gives me at the the appearance of being able to Choose the company that offers things I want
