When you look up a companies inspection stats online which ones are important to look at based on the company and which ones are more driver related? I def don't want a crappy company but I also realize some stuff like really basic things are because a driver didn't check to see if he or she had...

Crossovers aren't the easiest thing ever but straight line backing isn't hard. Blind side parallel is to say complicated lol. Pretrip I certainly need to practice a lot Edit: Also this morning me and another student solo crossovers

I had an experience like that in my van driving from Jamestown New York to Niagara Falls to pick up a 1100lbs steel coil to take to Youngstown Ohio. Snowing like crazy wind blowing something fierce and me this 24yo kid from Kentucky that had never driven in snow deeper than maybe 4-5 inches...

Oh my that hoarder lady must've been one hellatious trainer and driver lol. I'm now in a international 9200i that's an '02 model a little rough but seems mechanically sound. Engine area and all the stuff on Pretrip is pretty clean. Black Beauty is a pretty truck.

What you just said was pretty much what got me looking into it. Looks different enough to be something new but not quite as all out scary looking as being a straight up skateboarder.

Yeah we've had several companies that have come in that don't pay squat. We had USExpress come in a I believe while I was out and they folks in class said seemed ok but crappy pay. For $550 I'd rather take a local class B job or even the local class A jobs we have on the job board at school

True and maverick has a glass and a temp control division on top of their normal flatbed and I happen to live where they hire for all 3. I don't think I am located in regional flatbed which is okay and I know I'm not located in their specialized division requirements

A few companies have come to school and have given us prehire letters for once we finish but no firm suitors yet. I really like what I've heard from maverick and they seem to pay well about .50cpm within 6 months
