    Good for Goode!

OK I understand you point of view now Pilgrim. Who is saying this, there is a civil war in Iraq? The media, the UN and the EU. It seems that the Iraqis, some who I talk to and some who have seem to be in control of their country say otherwise. I do tend to believe the people I talk to who have...

    Good for Goode!

Pilgrim, I am puzzled by FDR replacing generals, and trying to figure out who you are talking about.

    How well are we protected?

No I don't think it was a recon mission on the 20 year olds part. Huh? Some of the best information gathering people are young people who blend in.

    How well are we protected?

OK many of you heard the problem they had with three ‘middle eastern’ men who were caught at port of Miami with a truck, no proper ID, no manifest. Watching the news last night and this morning, the news blew by this as it was a normal occurrence. So I am reading this a little bit ago...

    Need advice on overhaul

I would start to consider a dyno to see what power level you are getting out of it. If it is (I think I may be wrong about this) at 70% or below it is time for an OH. Outside of that, if the OA is right on with the age (no high anything) than I would keep rolling.

    New ULSD Economy

Actually Highway, the removal of lead did not cause a redisign but rather brought back what they did 30 years prior. Back in 1939, a few auto companies started to use harden valve seats and stainless steel valves to avoid problms with low lead fuel if war broke out. I had a 1941 Cadillac that...

Saddam Hussein is dead by hanging

There is a purpose with capital punishment but I really like the system that the Muslims have used for centuries, the victim's family are the only one's who can call off the hanging or beheading with only one appeal. I can see if this was in place how many would be executed - I would figure an...

    Good for Goode!

Road Hooligan said; “ Hitler had a great way to get the country behind his sick thinking. Just find someone to hate. It was the Jews for him. Now, we are on the way to doing the same thing to the Muslims. I would like to think that we are better than Hitler. However, some of the comments here...

    Cash Stops the World

the 1920's all over again. I find it funny that our debt spending is spreading to other parts of the world - Japan for example were the top savers in the world but now that has dropped so much that the up and coming adults have 30% of the savings that the generation 10 years ago had. If we...

Being fair for the contract driver

I just don’t get it. I am not criticizing anyone here but why is it that many will search out information about the companies but don’t take the time to properly research how to be a contractor? There have been some heated discussions between EO members and a lot written about this...

    parking problems

No I never called you nuts, only thought you were;) (you know I am just kidding?) We went to IKEA the other day before it opened and the parking lot had a lot of cars already there so we left. On the other hand, last time I was in Chicago, I sat in the IKEA lot for three hours after it opened...

    Insurance

This subject was brought up before and it is a good idea but I asked then and will ask again what insurance do you have on your equipment and personal belongings and how do you handle the replacment cost records for those items? I ask because many insurers will not insure laptops, kitchen gear...

    parking problems

The Detroiter is a ****hole. I go there only if I absolutly have to, like for a FedEx meeting where I had lunch and spent the night throwing up. The last time I had to stop there was for my wife and she is tolerant of dirty places and was mad at me for stopping. If I need fuel, I will go...
