how many miles will a 8.3cummins last

The overhead consists of, from what I have seen,Is taking a cold engine, pulling off the valve covers, loosening the nuts that hold the rocker arms onto the valves, and re-torqueing them to specs, one at a time.Correct me if I am wrong, Gregg.Last time I had them done at cat, it was around a...

    old 3500

I don't see where a 2004 model would be a problem, seeing as to how I have a 2003 and I have not had any problems, except for one carrier. But I am happy where I am at anyway.

how many miles will a 8.3cummins last

I understand, and appreciate it. Other than taking a persons word saying overheads were done on a regular basis, how would one know? Receipts could be a good indicator, but not many keep detailed maintenance records, either.I've been fortunate so far, for buying used trucks that gave me good...

Actually, I prefer the Petro over any other. But I am glad the T/A has changed their food supplier to the same as the Petro, and the salad bar has improved. There have been alot of improvements at the T/A recently that are greatly appreciatted. The shower heads need improvement, though. Kinda like...

my2003 Ford E-350 has a GCWR of 9,400 with the 7.3 diesel in it.If youre wanting to know how much you can haul, put everything in it, including you, fill the fuel tank up, and weigh it, then subtract that # from the gcwr of 9,400.Mine weighs 7,500 empty, full of fuel, me and contents, which means...

    engine performance

My first guess would be the fuel filter. The anti-gel may have loosened up some stuff if you didn't use it on a regular basis. My second guess may be a long shot, but happened to me last week in Chicago, even though I have a van.My gas pedal would go dead.As if nothing would happen when...
