I think most city bus services are subsidized. They should be forced to stand on their own two feet. So should AmTrack. There is no excuse for running a losing project.

We don't need anymore money losing trains. I think I read that of the 44 Amtrack routes 41 lose money. Scrap all of them that lose. We should not be subsidizing anything like that, including city bus services. They should be able to function on their fares.

OK, Turtle, I get where you are coming from. I too believe in that "Big Dog" thing. That is what I think we are missing with Obama in charge. He comes across as weak and is doing all he can to weaken the military and intell services. At least from my point of view. Weakness does not inspire fear...

Because they are the kind of scuz that would pull a 9/11 if they could. What do YOU consider a security threat to the U.S.? What is your defenition of that?

Better than normal then. How would you go about stopping arms, munitions etc from getting into Gaza? How would you go about stopping those 3000 missiles a year fired into Israel? Not the the government of Israel is one of my favorites, they are far from it, but how would you go about it?

Re: whatever Much of this does not make sense. Right down to the basic point that we are not trusted to be smart enough to know when we are too tired to drive. Not trusted to work within existing law without being watched 24/7. I have not needed a babysitter since I was 7. Don't need one now.
