I bet those rollers are a sweet thing to have in avan. I went to Harbor Freight and bought a chain that has a standard hook on one end, and a large j-hook at the other.It works perfect, just long enough at 9' to get that front skid out. It cost around $20.00

Everybody is different, especially in how they manage time on a load and stay awake.Some can only do 500 a day, others can do 3 times that much.It all depends on the person and their body,and mindset.And how a person manges his time while waiting for a load, also plays an important part in this...

When I was a Polly in a s/t I did extremely well running out west, and loved every minute of it.But now in a van I am trying to stay in the more heavily populated freight areas,being what I believe to be east of 35.Sitting and waiting for a load is alot more tolerable in a s/t vs a van.

I wont go out there in a van,it just doesnt make sense to me.I stay east of 35.I might go to Iowa,but that's about it.I've always had to deadhead back or sit too long going out there, so once bitten, twice shy.I am doing very well running where I am.

If I have to pay for a fax, they reimburse the fee to me, as long as I throw the receipt in the company-paid trip-pack envelope. I think the reason for this is there was a problem with drivers in the past collecting bol's and not turning them in in a timely manner, thus the $20.00 charge.
