    "multiple expletives" ACLU

Much of society not only ignores crime, they excuse it. Just as they excuse the filth that they live in. What do you mean "restrict what a criminal gets" Many around here are far from complacent about crime but the law does not allow us to do much about it. The government has assumed...

    "multiple expletives" ACLU

Sure most "lawmakers" are to blame for a lot of this. Many lawmakers are lawyers. They pass laws to insure a steady stream of clients for their buddies. The revolving door makes their bank accounts grow fatter every day.

That is another option. I was told, however, that a business does not get the same level of credit card protection that a consumer gets. They are getting tomorrow to call, if not on Monday I start with Freightliner and the card company.

US home prices slump as crisis deepens

They were saying on the news today that houses in our area were down to 2002 levels. I bought my house in 2002, it is about 40% below 2002 level. The dirty rotten liars!!

    Global Warming Strikes CO.

Yeah, heading back to what we used to see when I was a kid. IF someone wants to convince me that there is something going on I am going to need good, solid, precise records going back AT LEAST 100 million years or so. 200 hundred, if that, does not a trend make when looking at "G" time.

    Global Warming Strikes CO.

I some how don't think that is correct. That man has never seen? Not even close. We do have more reporting that makes it seem worse. In part to convince people that the lie is true. We also only have good records of a couple of hundred years. That is not nearly enough to determine "climate...

    Rate per mile?

Well, I would take a HUGH cut in pay if I were to go DOWN to $1.75, including FSC. I only take loads that pay that low, IF they are not reefer, IF they are very light in weight or IF it suits family needs. Other wise, nope.

    Global Warming Strikes CO.

Yeah, one of the more stupid terms out there. Since the climate is always changing. The earth's climate has never been static. Their "global warming" scam fell short so they came up with a "new term" for the "lie". The worthless goobers!!

    Rate per mile?

It would be an interesting thing to have all carriers list their cost per mile, just freight rates, no FSC or any other accessorials. For all size trucks. Have them post rates for both dry box and reefer. Any bets that this will happen soon?

    Global Warming Strikes CO.

Yes, ALGORE's global warming has struck AGAIN. Colorado ski resorts are being FORCED to stay open on weekends, maybe as long as through the 4th of July due to more than double the normal amount of snow this season. There has been heavy spring snow as well. Summer season sports and activities are...

    Big MESS

Stay away from I75 going through Detroit. There is an overturned T/T on the Northbound side. Traffic is stopped at Outer Drive. It is back up all the way into Lincoln Park. It is going to be a mess for several hours. The freeway is closed at exit 43.

Huge New Oil field in TX found...

No, the labor issue is due to lack of skilled trained people. I have a friend that lives in Oil City. He has been out of work more than in work most of his adult life. He went to ITT Tech to learn welding. He was hired before he graduated. They need pipe fitters, welders, etc. Truck drivers...

Huge New Oil field in TX found...

There is a huge BOOM in PA right now, going after those gas deposits. They are having problems finding skilled labor there now. Those deposits cover a lot of land in PA. Remember that the world's first commercial oil well was drilled in Titusville, PA. They started "fracking" those wells back...

Women breaking barriers in Navy, not SEALs yet

SEALS would not carry the heavy gear on a mission like they just pulled off. They do train for it and do carry it on some longer term missions. The thing is, in the Army, EVERYONE is infantry first and their MOS second. I was only 125lbs (no one would believe that now) when I went in. I...

Unneeded right now. Should be left like an "ace in the hole" so to speak. There is also a lot of oil all over the country without messing with water at all.
