Two Americas. Living in the political twilight zone.

That is really funny coming from a man who parrots liberal talking points. I don't listen to much talk radio these days, I have heard enough to know that Mark Levin is a conservative talk show host though. Would it surprise you to find out that the Republican Party is made up of more than...

    winter sleeper accessories

I heard of it--- saw one at a truck stop in Monee, Illinois if I remember right-- last winter. Haven't seen it since but I've been looking for it. Like most 12-volt stuff it probably takes forever to generate almost no heat, but it still might be worth a try.

Remember your Carbon Monoxide detectors this winter!

Where does that oil come from? I'm still using the disposable tanks so it's not a problem yet, but I'd like to know before I go the 20 lb tank route.

The Future of Expediting; Yes or No?

Maybe because the cops can see the trucks are grossly overweight??? I don't care what the door plate or the license plate says, gross overweight for the vehicle is unsafe and the cops will stop you for that.

    "Moving day"???

That could be a problem for my last marriage. She had had three kids before me by C-section, and had had her tubes tied. We could not procreate, therefore by this definition even though we were a man and a woman we failed the "Turtle Test" for being able to marry. (Might as well stir the pot a...

Two Americas. Living in the political twilight zone.

Now that I think of it, that is interesting. Hate being labeled, but label everything with derogatory labels. If I used a racially insensitive label I would be told in no uncertain terms how evil I am, but it's OK to label me an "Angry White Male" because I voted Republican. OK, noted. Next----.

Two Americas. Living in the political twilight zone.

It's unpopular to suggest cutting military--- and I'm a right-winger, so you can imagine-- but, while we're talking "compassion", it's costing us a fortune to run around the world being everybody else's mommy. If we shrunk our military to what is actually needed to defend the United States, the...

    "Moving day"???

Every now and then I have to dig through the archives for the following link. In view of Bobwg's response--- which happens to be right-- the time has come to post it in this thread that will not die. Bill of No Rights - 12/08/97

    Sprinter Assembly Plant in Germany:video

I liked the Sprinter while I had it. The high maintenance costs I could have done without, though. Also, finding out that getting service for it was only slightly less difficult than getting a Rolls Royce worked on. If Ford backs their Transit vans the way they've supported the E-series vans...

    "Moving day"???

It's not there. In fact, it seems there was no such thing as a "marriage license" until after the Civil War. Then, certain states passed laws requiring you to get a license from the state before marrying--- as a way to stop interracial marriages. Before then, marriages were either what we today...

That was already tried, with somewhat disastrous results. It took the nation forever to recover from that attempt. There has been a successful secession from the Union though. Well, sort of anyway. See the link below for further details. Welcome To The Conch Republic - Key West

In other news, Nashville has moved to Kentucky, which came as a shock to many in Nashville. News of this move at 11:00.

The Future of Expediting; Yes or No?

I will say this about the courier company I worked for: Those two yellow trucks never would have gotten under the 10,000 designation. They're clearly over, any attempt to load them with what they're capable of carrying and trying to run them as "under ten" units would get the vehicles pulled...

Brutus Threatens Snow, Severe for West, Midwest

Please don't tell me the next storm is named "Caesar". I wouldn't be surprised if they did do that, though.

The Future of Expediting; Yes or No?

I've driven one of these things when I was doing local courier work. The company rented it while my van was in the shop, then deducted the rental from my settlement. Yeah, that stank to high heaven. The one I drove was rated under 10K, and the payload rating was an abomination. To have such a...

    "Moving day"???

Stepping into the past and following the example---- But, I thought you said you didn't want God's input. You don't get much further back into the past than the beginning, and in the beginning God created man and woman and brought them together.

    Drop dead Rachel

I thought those testosterone pills were phony. Besides, being as horny as a teenager wouldn't exactly be an advantage for me today. They arrest dirty creepy old men who chase young women, you know.

None of these companies can do what they claim anyway. They have no-not-any connection to the bank that issued your card, and without that connection they are powerless to lower your interest rate. Even if they say President Obama said they could. (Shortly after Obama got sworn in the first...
