Expediting is a tough business, especially in this economy. I'd say if your making money where you are now, I'd stay there for a while, to see if things level out. Driving for a owner the first year or so is a great idea if you want to go that route. And from all the feedback here, Load1...

You have to watch out for them people up there:eek::rolleyes:

Do you research here, drive for someone the first year or buy a nice used van to start off with, why spend 30 to 50 grand on something you may not like.

I would say it's much easier in a cargo van, in a straight truck you have to watch out for clearances, plus no place to park. Been there done that up at the Detroit airport
