    PANTHER II

I doubt that's necessary. Axis' name is right in his profile. However, that is undignified using it in such a cheesy way. From the look of things, Axis and bigguy aren't drinking buddies, so a first name basis probably isn't appropriate.

    EXPO..my first

You'll have plenty of room in the lot. It costs $5 to park for 24 hours. If you want to bring your pick up instead, there are plenty of parking spaces there too.

    No BOL

With Panther, we were told that if there was no bol, use a pro bill. We'd put the pro number as the bol number. When we sent it in, we'd right on the pro "no bol". This also happened with Express-1. They told us to use the date and an 01 afterwards. Apparently, not everyone is going to have a...

    Seahawks

Broom... better get your sports almanac out. Seahawks won all their home games in 2003. They also won five last year, INCLUDING the one against your Panthers. Everyone hopes their team makes it to the Superbowl, very few Lions fans thinks it'll actually happen. Seahawks have a chance, but every...

Drivers With Spouse and Small Children At Home

My wife sends me pics over my phone or email whenever my daughter wants to be a movie star :-) Still doesn't take away the fact that I miss her growing up a week or two at a time. And geez does she grow!!!

    No BOL

We were told in orientation that the driver dropping the freight uses their pro signed by the driver picking up. That is their bol. All original bols go with the truck going the rest of the distance.

    Canada What is a Canadian?

I'm not going there at all. I'm talking about Clinton's popularity there rivals the British royalty. So many people showed up to his book signing in Toronto, you'd think Christ had been reborn as a Toronto Maple Leaf! I can't explain his fame across the border, other than the love Canadians have...

    Canada What is a Canadian?

What would you rather we call ourselves? United States of Canada? LOL I know most ppl in Canada would rather we be called Clintonia. I prefer FREE REPUBLIC OF AMERICA, but our government would never allow that... besides, nothing is free. That brings up a good question... What do people in the...

    Front Brakes

I had the same prob in the 106, but as I applied the brakes harder, they would lock and pull me to the right. There's a post on here about that problem from about 6 months ago. It appears to be a common thing for the fl series.

Have cdl permit need road test HOW??

If you need a testing company, your local DMV should have a list. It cost us $100 to get the certificate for my nephew's license. I used my own truck, but I'm sure if you rent one (hint: a U-haul or Ryder doesn't require a cdl to drive), you should be able to use it for a test. I don't know if...

    Truck Build Disasters

That reminds me... I'm buying an older class 8 straight truck. The guy says it has springs under the box (or something to that effect). This is to allow the frame to twist, but not the box's floor. Has anyone heard of this?

    Getting Started

It's not against the law for a van to drive that much, just irresponsible. No reason to drive more than 14 hours or so in a van. I've heard several examples of tractors going non-stop cross-country, and it's crazy! I don't see much point in being the richest man in the graveyard.

    Got me again

I noticed that at a Pilot in Monroe. .05 more for credit! I got enough to get us to the Hook in Youngstown. TJ... what you said about waiting til you get to Ohio. They don't put all of their fuel taxes on at the pump... so you're paying a high price, plus getting spanked when you get your...

Broom... I don't see anything greedy about it. The business will be there for us, and you want some of it. Nothing wrong with that. :D

    Vacation in Chattanooga

A D-unit with Panther has no probs getting out of GA, especially Atlanta. SC isn't bad either. Prof, you asked what you did wrong... Chattanooga! It's not the best place to sit for D-units, and my guess is for vans also. Knoxville, Nashville, or Atlanta would produce more fruit. If you're...

    Paying your Co-driver

Absolutely... miles are just the biggest part of it, tho. If someone drove single for me, they'd get half of everything that mileage didn't cover; except for fingerprinting loads, which they'd get 100%.

Looking to get in the business.

Just for your concideration: Con-way pays $1.07 (I hope I'm right on this), and several others are in the $1.15-$1.30 area.

    No good deed goes unpunished

very simple... truck is business. You want help moving? Fine. Rent a truck and tell me when you're loading it. I've helped a couple of times, but when someone EXPECTS my truck to be used for favors, that usually means money out of my pocket... so they can just ask to borrow money :)
