A Great Day in Expedite Trucking

What an awesome prize! Can't wait to see it. I bet Rich won't be able to wipe the smile off his face while he's behind the wheel.

    ABC Box Company

Problem #2 with the box. They extended the shaft coming out of the gearbox for the dollies by welding on an extension, which broke off in my hand while I was rolling up after loading. A handle with a longer reach would have certainly been much better. The fun part was that this happened in...

    What are you Haulin'?

Uh-oh, I just told Cheri where I'm delivering in the morning. Maybe I should have played it closer to the vest.

St. PATTY'S DAY! WHERE ARE YOU ??

Spent my St. Pat's day driving down I-95 trying to find a shop that could do some welding. It took 6 tries, but finally got it done in Kenly, N.C.

    All time favorite movies.....

My list would also be quite long. I see Harold and Maude came up a couple of times. My girl friend dragged me to see it and I was surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did. A lot of movies I liked were mentioned, here's a few more. Almost Famous The new King Kong On Any Sunday Crimson Tide...

    Trucker Slang (revised again)

RE: Trucker Slang (revised) "Gougin' on it!" This is used to say you're going fast. Proper delivery of this term is very important. There should be a higher pitched, growly emphasis put on the word "gougin'". One would be opening themselves up to ridicule if they were to say, "I'm gouging on...

    Air Cargo

They took an apple from me once. I guess they need to quell any and all potential threats. An apple here, a couple pieces of jerky there, before you know it, you've got big problems.

If someone does nothing else, just a period at the end of a sentEnce makes all the difference in the world. Is it really that difficult?

    ABC Box Company

I have to agree on the DOT bumper. Very impressive looking. However, I'm sitting in Youngstown at a shop that does warranty work for ABC. There's a leak in the front, left, upper corner. They say that it's structurally O.K., just needs to be re-caulked.

    Hauling your vehicle

I drove my van to Columbus to pick up my new truck. Drove it in the box and used load locks front and rear. No problem. Met a flatbed wrecker in the Big Lots parking lot, it was where he happened to be when I called, drove the van out and the wrecker put it on the ground. Probably the easiest 40...

    Flying J WiFi

My experience with the J was the same. I'm getting the same thing with my Altell card. Some towers are real good, some good enough, and some are like it is in Milton, Pa tonight. The thing just seems to sieze up, and EO is the worse. I'll bring up a second browser and other sites seem to go better.

    Power Inverter installation

That seems like a big inverter for a van. Do you really need that much? You absolutely need to hook that to the battery, and I would never turn it on without the engine running. It's gonna suck a lot of juice.

RE: Looking to join Express 1 - what is their trac Jefferson asks a good question. You claim to not be a liar, yet, in your original post you say you don't know about E1. Which is it? Do you have any comprehension of what credibility is?

Well, so far, I think I'm gonna like it. '07 M2, 250 MBE, 6 speed automated, 84" Bentz, 22' box. The Rigmaster gets installed Tuesday. It should be ready to put in service Thursday. I'm getting to see how it runs with 7k in the box hauling my van back home. Tommorow will be the test on the hills...

    Toot your horn!

My Feb was the PITTS!! But, now that I can haul 10 skids instead of 2, maybe things will improve. Typing from 84" of comfort ain't bad either.
