    Americans CAN do it!!

"But the time, effort and money spent on fighting breast cancer versus fighting prostate cancer is anything but proportional. In 2005, the United States government spent $699 million for breast cancer research, compared to $390 million for prostate cancer, nearly twice as much on breast cancer...

"The "hunters" I have had to deal with lately are idiots. I think we need to have hunter safety classes every year for people who can't see, can't hear and especially older than 65." Let's see. I am 60. My Dad is 88, his hunting partner is 87. Not being able to hear is NOT a safety issue...

    3 in a row!!

Sure seems that way. The broadcasters kept saying that the rest of the league had better watch out for the LIONS!! How weird is that? They said that they have talent, and have learned how to win close games. Get rid of a key injury or two and they are going to be a force in the NFL. Geez, I am...

FMCSA HOS Proposal Good or Bad????

The new rules are of no help. Have not figured out if they will hurt us yet. VERY disappointed that teams are not able to go back to 5/5 or something. Nothing more stupid than having a team member wide awake in the sleeper and the other member tired. How foolish they are. They don't listen. I...

Lions beat the Dolphins 34-27. That is 3 wins in a row for the first time in 6 years. That is also 2 road wins in a row. They are STARTING to look like a football team. They got an "attitude" about them!!

They are NOT drivers. Regs are made by people who have, for the most part, READ about drivers, seen them on the road and feel a GREAT need to exercise power over them. After all, they ARE smarter, they read it it a book. OF COURSE letting teams split driving hours is safer. I would...

Idiots running around? Must be either City Slickers or politicians. (Often the same people are inflicted with both diseases) NO REAL hunter acts like that. Of course hunters will kill some of the moose. They kick FAR too hard when you try to eat them alive and the hair tastes nasty anyway...

    Check engine light off

Got my check engine light problem solved. It was a bad boost sensor. Small repair, under $400 which included getting a few other minor things tightened up. Next chore? Getting my old broken fridge out and getting the new one installed.

It is a VERY well made rifle. The bolt slides SOOOOO SMOOOTH! I was lucky enough to get to hunt with by granddad before he was killed in a mine explosion in '62. I got to hunt rabbits with him. I will never forget that.

I am consistent. When I back a team it matters not what their record is. Besides, so far this year Michigan and Ohio State have split their 2 games. Although Michigan's loss was in an overtime game.
