    Owner Operator Lease Agreement

No, they sure don't. And, ain't NOOOBODY guaranteein' me diddly squat right now. The last 10 days have tanked for me. I was just using that as an illustration of the CYA clauses that can be found in carrier agreements. I understand it and was making no judgment.

    Owner Operator Lease Agreement

Many lease agreements have language along the lines of, no guarantee to provide freight and the lease can be terminated by either party without cause. Having said that, I think they would prefer the O/O to quit, rather than be fired.

    new to expediting

The short answer is, things are tough right now. More so for some than others. Most successful expediters stay out longer than 2 weeks. There are exceptions, of course. Spend some time going back through the threads in Newbies, General, and recruiters. You'll learn a lot.

Attention Truck Buyers - Important and Urgent

I'm not sure what problems "we" have, LOL, but that was, in no way, shape or form, a personal attack. It was simply pointing out info that was false. And, you were, after all, the one that posted it. This is a glowing example of something I said in another thread this morning. Disagreement taken...

    Where's A-Team-anyone seen Phil?

Actual attacks are rare. Disagreements? Oh yeah, there's plenty of those. The problem is that some people take simple disagreements as a personal attack and then it just goes downhill from there. Personally, I don't see the need of an announcement. Rather than leaving for an extended period...

    Check it OUT!!

When my ex and I moved up north, we bought a small, 40 acre "gentlemans" farm. I didn't do much of any actual farming. The ex had a couple horses and we let the neighbors hay it. I did buy a couple of charlioux(sp?) steers to finish and butcher. We took a half and other friends took the rest. My...

    My spring break

Hmmm, let's see, a spring break like the Profs, or a spring break drinking beer and looking at college girls hooters? Hmmm... Glad to hear you made it through O.K.!

So, Mr. Vango, or whomever you are, (that all got by me, I didn't even notice), you say you've been in Chi Batmans shoes. Did you go on the internet and complain about everyone that you perceived to be your problem, without any mention of the role you played in your situation? Or, did you do...

That's just it! There are obviously many more pieces to the puzzle that is Chis situation. The guy says the only place he has to live is a cargo van that belongs to someone else, and talks about what recruiters said to him years ago. While I feel for him, I'm absolutely certain that the things...

    VIN Number Displayed

The way I've heard it, there are no states where it's a law. When you are talked to about it, they will "strongly suggest" or say you "need to" do it. They never say that it's the law in that state, here's a warning, get it done. They like it so the can enter the VIN in the 'puter to quickly see...

    Bluetooth Headset

I'm also a Blueparrot fan. I have one for each phone. I have the original model on my business phone. I've talked to people that swear you can't replace the battery, but they haven't looked into it. The battery's 10 bucks, and if it takes you more than a couple of minutes to replace it, you...
