There's ALWAYS a high demand for straight truck owner operators. If you ask most carriers - currently, there's an over-saturation of vans. I would look hard and fast at the numbers and opportunities first before making a decision.

If your in a straight truck/tractor - they may put a tag on the box and inspect it on your way out.

The Rule of Thirds apply to every vehicle in trucking, be it a cargo van, Sprinter, straight truck or a big truck. Adjustments are made to the percentages based on rate of pay, individual vehicles, how maintenance is performed, and on how well you can minimize operating and maintenance expenses...
